Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Exodus 20.2
I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came
with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days,
and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and
glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him:
his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his
kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
Daniel 7.12
The Number 696 is profoundly integrated with the holographic
structure of the Ten Commandments.
It is the Foundation of the Torah - belief in and faithfulness to the Ancient of Days,
the One God who gave us the First Commandment:
Thou shalt have no other gods beside me.

This is discussed in Powers of Ten where it is shown how the Number Ten modulates
between the Hebrew origin and the Greek fulfillment of an idea.
