Comments:
The Wood (symbol of the Law) laid upon Isaac in the prophecy of Genesis 22 represents
Christ carrying the Cross (Tsalibah). The burden He bore is represented by the thorns and
thistles (the curse of sin). This is seen in His crown of thorns, and it is the travail
of His soul. It was upon the Cross that He bore The Vegeance of the Lord.
