Isaiah 43 - The Gospel of John
Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen:
that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no
God formed, neither shall there be after me.
Isaiah 43.10
The Gospel of John uses the words witness and believe more than any
other book in all the Bible. This correlates with Isaiah 43, which contains the
greatest density of these words within the sixty-six chapters of Isaiah. The distributions
in Isaiah and the Bible are compared in the graph below1:
This graph is a linguistic spectral analysis of the Bible. It shows how God distributed His
words in Isaiah in nearly exactly the same way as throughout the entire Bible. Note the
value of the cc = .77! This one graph
proves the whole thesis of the correlation between the Bible and Isaiah. Yet this graph is not alone.
A very similiar distribution, based on the phrase I AM also links the
chapter sequence of Isaiah to that of the Bible with a correlation coefficient of .74!
The correlation coefficient is so high because not only do the primary maxima match
in Cell 43, but the secondary maxima also match in Cell 44. This is what argues so clearly
for God's divine guidance in the design of both the order of the Canon and the chapters of Isaiah.
Suppose, for example, that mere men had, (in their great wisdom), thought to rearrange the order
of the Canon so that there would be no break between Luke and Acts. Some might consider this
logical since these books were both written
by Luke. If they wanted to achieve this while keeping the four Gospels together, they would simply
interchange Luke with John. This seemingly minor change would have a drastic effect
on the correlation coefficient which would drop from
.77 to a mere .17!
Yet the loss in correlation would not be confined merely to unity between the sixty-six chapters of
Isaiah with the books of the Bible. It would also destroy
all the links and KeyLinks that unite Luke with Proverbs and III John,
as well as all the links between Isaiah 43 and the Gospel of John!
Thus we see thousands upon thousands of converging lines of evidence declaring the
infinte wisdom of God our Saviour and the perfection of His Holy Word! Glory to God
in the highest!
