Establishment of the Kingdom

Isaiah 9 chain Psalm 9 chain 1 Samuel

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Isaiah 9 (vs. 5f)

And the LORD hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the LORD hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David:

Book 9 (I Samuel 28.17)

The Ninth Book (I Samuel), contains the first occurrence of the set (David, Kingdom) [Verify]. It corresponds to the verse from Isaiah 9 above which is the only verse in all Isaiah to contain these words. The strong thematic correlation between Isaiah 9 and I Samuel follows the pattern established in Psalm 9, The Throne of Judgment:

Isaiah 9chainI Samuel

There also is a KeyLink between Isaiah 9 and I Samuel, based on the fundamental theme of the establishment of God's Kingdom. Searching the entire KJV for all verses containing the set (Establish*, Kingdom, Lord, Ever*) [Verify] yields exactly two verses:

Isaiah 9 I Samuel 13.13
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.

We have a KeyLink:

KeyLink: The Establisment of the Lord's Kingdom
Isaiah 9chainI Samuel

This integrates with the course of World History and the coronation of Chalrlemagne by Pope Leo III at the opening of the Ninth Century. The thematic link between Isaiah 9 and Psalm 9 can be seen by searching for the set (Throne, Judgment, Lord, Ever) [Verify], which selects only four verses:

Isaiah 9 Psalm 9
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment. And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

These links are associated with the preparation and establishment of the Throne of the Kingdom, and the idea of Judgment. The Kingdom and Kingship proper are associated with the Number 10 (cf. Psalm 10). This integrates with the inauguration of the Holy Roman Empire in the Tenth Century.
