Spoke 9
Psalm 9 Isaiah 9
For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest
in the throne judging right.
Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their
name for ever and ever. O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and
thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.
But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.
And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister
judgment to the people in uprightness.
Psalm 9 (vss. 4ff)
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall
be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting
Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall
be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it,
and to establish it with
judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever.
The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Isaiah 9 (vss. 6f)
Clouds and darkness are round about him:
righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.
A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.
Psalm 97 (Inner Cycle: Spoke 9, Cycle 5)
The prophecy of the Birth of Christ who was
destined to sit upon the Throne of David links strongly with Book 9 (I Samuel, when David was
annointed King) and Psalm 9 where God speaks plainly about the establishment of His Throne of Judgment.
The link between Isaiah 9 and Psalm 9 is particularly strong. There are only four verses in all
the KJV that contain the set
(Throne, Lord, Judgment, Ever) [Verify] and two of them are Psalm 9.7 and Isaiah 9.7.
This Spoke 9 theme links to the course of World History and the Coronation of Charlemagne in
the Ninth Century.
We also have these two other KeyLinks between Psalm 9.7 and Isaiah 9.7:
- KeyLink: (Throne, Judgment, Ever w/i 1 End)
- KeyLink: (Throne, Judgment, Lord w/i 1 Name)
We also have a KeyLink to 1 Samuel, which is the Book in which God
first established the Throne of His Kingdom
- KeyLink: (Throne, Lord w/i 1 World) Ps 9.7 - 1 Sam 2.8
