Isaiah 49 - Ephesians
Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and
his Holy One,
to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers,
Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is
faithful,
and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.
Isaiah 49 vs. 7f
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which
are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace be to you,
and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he
hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be
holy and without
blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus
Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of
his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have
redemption
through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Book 49 Ephesians 1.3f
The divine integration of the chapter sequence of Isaiah with that of the Christian Canon
is a never-ending wonder to behold. It gives the heart such joy to see the Lord presenting two witnesses
to such glorious truths!
And what a glorious truth we see here - the Lord's declaration that he chose us in love unto an eternal
inheritance! Glory!
There are many many Links and connecting the Fifth Spoke of the Inner Wheel of Isaiah with that
of the Bible Wheel. The two verses above are selected by searching the entire KJV for
all verses containing the words holy and choose or chosen within a few verses of
of some form of redeemed [Logos search string: (choose or chosen) and holy withinverse 3 rede*].
Actually, this search string selects three verses, the other being Deuteronomy 7.6f:
For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the
LORD thy God hath
chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that
are upon the face of the earth.
The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more
in number than any
people; for ye were the fewest of all people: But because the LORD loved you, and because he
would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with
a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and
mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
We have therefor a triple keylink between two elements from Spoke 5 of the Bwheel with that of Cell 49
on Spoke 5 of the Inner Wheel of Isaiah:
|
Triple KeyLink: Chosen, Holy, and Redeemed |
Book 5
Book 49
Isaiah 49 |
Using gnotation to represent these as points in space and modnotation to reveal
the cyclic structure of the indeces yields this representation of this triple KeyLink:
|
Triple KeyLink: Chosen, Holy, and Redeemed |
PBible( 51 )
PBible( 53 )
PIsaiah( 53 ) |
The word "faithful" is also highlighted in all three of these verses above because we could just as well have
used it in the search string rather than redeemed. This search results in exactly the same
three passages, so we have two KeyLinks between all three of these passages, which I guess we should
call a double triple KeyLink.
But no matter what we call it, we see that God has placed
very similar content in these geometrically correlated passages:
|
Triple KeyLink: Chosen, Holy, and Faithful |
PBible( 51 )
PBible( 53 )
PIsaiah( 53 ) |
Note also that these KeyLink reveal the
interweaving of Thread 1 (The Bible Wheel) with Thread 2 (Isaiah-Bible Corelation), showing that
the same theme unites both structures.
Isaiah 49 also links to Genesis 49 with the first appearance of Avir Yakov
(The Mighty One of Jacob, cf. Coordinated Debuts
in Genesis and Isaiah) which
then links to the great Spoke 5 theme of God's Power.
Also, should note that the passage from Deuteronomy 7.6 above links to Ephesians through
a different KeyLink set as explained in Holy, Chosen,
and Loved.
