Spoke 5
Genesis 49 Ephesians
Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty,
who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above,
blessings of the deep
that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb: The
blessings of thy father have
prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting
hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that
was separate from his brethren.
Genesis 49 (vss. 25ff)
The first blessing was given by God on the
Fifth Day of Creation, when
he said "Be fruitful and multiply." This is a powerful Spoke 5 KeyTheme that manifests in
the link between Deuteronomy and Matthew 5.
It also appears in the opening verses of Book 49, Ephesians:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed
us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Searching the entire Bible for all verses that contain the set (blessing*, heaven*, God)
yields lexactly two verses, both of which have been quoted above. This KeyLink is extremely
strong - it exists in all seven English versions used for comparison in this study.

The blessing found in Genesis 49 begins with these words:
Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well;
whose branches run over the wall.
Searching for all verses that contain the words Blessing and Father selects three portions
of Scripture: Genesis 27 (4 verses), Genesis 49 (3 verses) and Ephesians (1 verse).
The verses found in Genesis refer to the patriarchal blessings: Geneses 27 records Isaac's
blessing of his
son Jacob, and Genesis 49 records Israel's blessing of his twelve sons.

All these verses are restricted to numbers congruent to 5
modulo 22, which
is another way of saying that they all relate to Spoke 5 of the Wheel. Using modnotation, we
are able to represent these three numbers as:
27 = 52 (Spoke 5, Cycle 2)
49 = 53 (Spoke 5, Cycle 3)
Thus, we arrive at
this triple KeyLink based on the idea of the Father's Blessing:

This theme relates well with the link between Isaiah 49 and Ephesians, as discussed in
Holy Heirs.
1) There is only one anomaly in this set - the ASV has one extra hit in Hebrews because
of italicized word father.
