Isaiah 5 - Hey - The Lord's Vineyard
Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his
vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:
And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine,
and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked
that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.
Isaiah 5 (vs. 1)
In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine.
I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.
Isaiah 27 (vs. 2)
God's Vineyard Song immediately leaps out as a strong KeyLink between Isaiah 5 and Isaiah 27. Searching
the Bible for all verses containing the set (Sing, Vineyard) yields only the verses above:
KeyLink: God's Vinyard Song | Isaiah 51Isaiah 52 |
Here I used modnotation to write 27 = 52 (Spoke 5, Cycle 2).
