Esther, Malachi, 2 Peter

God's Name Despised

And Memucan answered before the king and the princes, Vashti the queen hath not done wrong to the king only, but also to all the princes, and to all the people that are in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus. For this deed of the queen shall come abroad unto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him [L'Paniv], but she came not. Likewise shall the ladies of Persia and Media say this day unto all the king's princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen. Thus shall there arise too much contempt and wrath.

Esther 1:16ff (Spoke 17, Cycle 1)

A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name? Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible. And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person [Lit. Panikah, Thy Face]? saith the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 1:6ff (Spoke 17, Cycle 2)

These symbols are profoundly integrated with the message God gives through Malachi. The contempt for the bread of God's table is really a contempt for God Himself - they despise Him to His Face! Thus we find the Face of God hidden below the surface of Malachi on Spoke 17 of the
