Spoke 6
Joshua, Hosea, Philippians
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and,
lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair,
and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as
a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven
departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were
moved out of their places.
Revelation 6.12f
The Six Seals opened in Revelation 6 are profoundly integrated with the first six Hebrew Letters and
elements related to Number 6 throughout the Bible. Most notable is the Sixth Seal, which is marked by
a cataclysm of cosmic proportions (cf. Man and Cosmos).
The darkening of the Sun correlates directly with the event at the
Sixth Hour when Christ - the
Light of the World - as crucified. We also have a KeyLink between Revelation 6 and Isaiah 50
on Spoke 6 of the Inner Wheel of Isaiah based on the set (Black*, Sackcloth) [Verify], which
integrates deeply with the Kenosis of Philippians (cf. The
Humilation of Christ). Using modnotation, we can make the correlation with the Number 6 clear:
50 = 6 + 44 = 6 + (3 - 1) x 22 = 63
Thus we can write this KeyLink as:

And the kings of the earth, and the great men,
and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and
every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the
rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us,
and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of
the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Revelation 6.15f
There are numerous KeyLinks between Spoke 6 and Revelation 6. I begin with the simple idea
of kings hiding in caves. We read (Joshua 10.16):
And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, unto the camp to Gilgal.
But these five kings fled, and hid themselves in a cave at
Makkedah. And it was told Joshua, saying, The five kings are found
hid in a cave at Makkedah. And Joshua said, Roll great stones upon the
mouth of the cave, and set men by it for to keep them:
We have a KeyLink based on the simple set (Kings, Hid) [Verify]
KeyLink: Kings Hide | Revelation 6Joshua |
This set can be specified even more to inclue (Kings, Hid, Cave/Dens) [Verify]
A completely different link is found by searching for the set (Mountain*, Hid*, Said) [Verify]
which links to the time Rahab protected the spies (Joshua 2.16):
And she said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the
pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days,
until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way.
KeyLink Set (Mountain*, Hid*, Said*) | Revelation 6Joshua |
We also have a near KeyLink to Hosea (Spoke 6, Cycle 2) based on the
set (Mountains, "Fall on us") [Verify] which selects only one other verse (from the
apocalyptic section of Luke):
As for Samaria, her king is cut off as the foam upon the water.
The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed:
the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains,
Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.
O Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah
against the children of iniquity did not overtake them.
Note that Gibeah is one of
the names whose first and last appearances are
found in Joshua and Hosea on Spoke 6. A true KeyLink can be found by using the set
(Mountains, "Fall on us" w/i 1 King*).
KeyLink: Kings call for the Mountains to fall on them | Revelation 6Hosea |
Using modnotation allows us to write refer to Hosea (Book 28, Spoke 6, Cycle 2) as 62,
so we can write this KeyLInk as:
| KeyLink: Kings call for the Mountains to fall on them | PRevelation( 61 ) PBible( 62 ) |
Thus we have links and KeyLinks between many elements on Spoke 6 of both the Bible Wheel and the Inner Wheel
of Isaiah.
