Spoke 4
Inner Wheel of Revelation
Revelation 4 Ezekiel
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven:
and the first voice
which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and
I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Revelation 4.1
The divine integration
of the Book of Revelation with the Hebrew alphabet is
nowhere more obvious than
here in the fourth chapter which opens with an explicit reference to the literal meaning
of the Fourth Letter, (Dalet, Door). Exactly the same
phenomenon is seen in in Genesis 4
which contains the biblical debut of door. All of this is greatly amplified in the
distribution of the words door or gate throughout the Bible, which are significantly maximized
on Spoke 4 (cf. .
The word used in Genesis 4 is
not Dalet, but
rather (Petach), from the verbal root
of the same spelling that means "to open". Petach generally refers to the doorway, while
Dalet refers to the actual
door hanging in the doorway. This is based on the basic meanings of the roots: patach (to open)
and dalal (to hang). Patach is familiar
to many Christians from the command Jesus gave when he opened
the ears of the deaf man, (Mark 7.34):
And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith
unto him, Ephphatha,
that is, Be opened.
God used the root patach to open the
Book of Ezekiel on Cycle 2 of Spoke 4:
Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth
day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the
heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
Note the phrase is nearly identical to that which opens Revelation 4. This is but
the beginning
of the divine integration. Almost all the elements found in
Revelation 4 also appear in the
following verses from Ezekiel. Both passages speak of God's Throne surrounded
by a rainbow and
four living creatures. Furthermore, the following passages from Ezekiel contain
the greatest density of the Number Four in all the Bible
(cf. Spoke 4 article God's Throne). This means we
have a complete integration
of both the meaning and the numerical value of the Fourth Letter with the
content of Revelation 4 and Ezekiel which are geometrically united on Spoke 4 of the Wheel!
This is displayed on the partial image of the Wheel, where the green inner circle represents
the Wheel of Revelation. Yet there is more. The phrase God used to open Revelation 4, based on the
Name of the Fourth Letter, also forms a KeyLink to the Book of Ezekiel. There are two and only
two verses in all the KJV that contains the phrase
"Behold, a door" - Revelation 4.1 (above) and this from a vision given to Ezekiel (vs.8.7f):
And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a
hole in the wall. Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when
I had digged in the wall, behold a door.
This means we have a KeyLink from the Inner Wheel of Revelation to Spoke 4 of the Bible Wheel based on
the literal meaning of the name of the Fourth Letter! Glory!

Simply stated, nothing gets more obvious than this! Returning now to the vision of Ezekiel's Chariot (vs. 1.4):
And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and
a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as
the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire. Also out of the midst thereof came
the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the
likeness of a man. And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
And their
feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf’s foot:
and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass. And they had the hands of a man
under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.
Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went
every one straight forward. As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the
face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they
four had the face
of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
This vision from Ezekiel is essentially identical to that found in
these verses from Revelation 4:
And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and
one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone:
and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
And round
about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders
sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. And out of
the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps
of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. And before the throne
there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round
about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. And the first beast
was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a
face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
Searching the entire Bible for all verses that refer to a man, a lion, a calf or ox, and an eagle
yields exactly three verses: two from Ezekiel and one from Revelation 4. We have the
following KeyLink:
KeyLink: Four Living Creatures before God's Throne | EzekielRevelation 4 |
Using gnotation, we can see how this KeyLink relates to the Number 4:
| KeyLink: Four Living Creatures before God's Throne | PBible( 42 ) PRevelation( 4 ) |
The symbol "42" refers to Ezekiel which resides on Spoke 4, Cycle 2.
Returning to Ezekiel, we learn more about the Throne of God (vs. 1.26):
And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as
the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness
as the appearance of a man above upon it. And I saw as the colour of amber, as the
appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even
upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the
appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about. As the appearance of the bow
that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness
round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD.
Both Ezekiel and Revelation 4 describe the Throne of God as surrounded by a
rainbow, and both use precious stones to describe the color.
These are the only verses in all the Bible where God's Throne is described this way.
We have therefore another KeyLink:

Consider the degree of integration going on here! Revelation 4, Ezekiel, the meaning of
the Fourth Letter and even its numerical value are all deeply integrated! There is no end
to God's Wisdom as revealed in His Holy Bible! Glory to God in the highest!
Yet there is one more thing I must mention. The exact words written at the end of Ezekiel
1.28 (the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD) are
numerically equivalent to the Name Yehoshuah HaMeshiach, which is Jesus Christ
in Hebrew. This is explained in the Gematria Reference.
