But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king's garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of David.

The Gate of the Fountain is Sha'ar HaAyin - Ayin being the name of the 16th Letter, found here in the 16th Book Nehemiah. (Recall Ayin signifies both Eye and Fountain, cf. The Eyes of God.) It was repaired by Shallum the son of Colhozeh - which means ALL-SEEING (S# H3626)and which sums to 70, the standard value of the Letter Ayin! We have a triple link here between the Hebrew Alphabet, the Order of the Canon, and the numerical value of the Letter:

Yet there is more! The words Fountain and David form a KeyLink between Nehemeiah and Zechariah, where we read about the Fountain of Grace that would be opened by the Lord Jesus Christ (cf. A Fountain Opened).

Another.phpect of the Number 70 is found in the ancient tradition from the Talmud that says "When the wine goes in, the sectrets come out." This is based on the following pair of identities:
