[GR] > The Number 65 - Silence before Adonai in the Temple |
But the LORD is in his holy temple [Heykel]: let all the earth keep
silence [Hasah] before him.
Habakkuk 2.20
Hold thy peace [Hasah] at the presence of
the Lord [Adoni] GOD: for the day of the
LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.
Zephaniah 1.7
The words translated as Lord GOD in Zephaniah are Adoni YHVH. Thus Silence (Hasah - not unlike Hush)
is associated in context with both Adoni (Lord) and Temple (Heykel). Each of these words sums
to 65.
