|[GR] > The Number 616 - The Law|
Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek
the law at his mouth:
for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.
Malachi means "My Angel" or "My Messenger." This is an example the name of a book appearing within
its text, in a way indepent of its title.

The Wood (symbol of the Law) laid upon Isaac in the prophecy of Genesis 22 represents
Christ carrying the Cross (Tsalibah). The burden He bore is represented by the thorns and
thistles (the curse of sin). This is seen in His crown of thorns, and it is the travail
of His soul. It was upon the Cross that He bore The Vegeance of the Lord.
