[GR] > The Number 281 - Infirmity and the Physician |
For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart
from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my
strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory
in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
II Corinthians 12.8
The Number 281 is prime. It is the basis of many rich identities. They separate out
into related but distinct categories:
- The perfection (7) of weakness (281) yields
the Power of God (7 x 281 = 1967). This is an example of how
Multiples of Seven manifest the symbolic meaning
of the Number Seven in Scripture.
- The Word became Flesh. Christ became weak (281) as a Lamb (281) to redeem us.
- The Physician (281) heals our infirmities (281) (cf.
The Great Physician).
- In Isaiah 61.3, God says he will give us Beauty for Ashes. These words are
anagrams of each other (cf.
Beauty for Ashes).
