The Number 18 - Life and Sin

For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not

Ecclesiastes 7.20

And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

Chi: Life

The primary significance of the Number 18 is Life - but there is none that lives and sinneth not, so we find the concepts of Life and Sin/Death inextricably intertwined. This is typical of the alphanumneric structure of Scripture - the Numbers form Numerical Categories that subsume polar concepts - the positive and negative .phpects of a singular cardinal impulse.

The verb (Chiah) and noun (Chi) forms of this Hebrew root meaning life combine multiplicatively to yield the Fountain of Life:

Chata: Sin

Both the words Chi & Chata (Life & Sin) are Chet KeyWords, and both evaluate to 18. In the case of Chata (Sin) we see the clear manifestation of the primary meaning of the Chet KeyWord Chabel (Bond, S# H2256) used in the Chet Alphabetic Verses. Christ brought all three ideas of Sin, Bond, and the Number 18 together in Luke 13.16 above.
