Every day my walk with Christ get deeper. He's always with me. When I first came back to faith, I felt like Nebuchadnezzar, like God had taken my understanding and sent me out to eat grass for 14 years because of my pride. Then He restored my soul and I could say with full faith, coming from the root of my soul, the words of Nebuchadnezzar:

Daniel 4:37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.

But now I have another metaphor. I was talking to Rose a few days ago, and was telling her about the ever-present love and peace of Christ and how deep the presence of Christ is in my heart. She asked me if it was different than when I first believed before I fell away. That made me uncomfortable at first, like "Was I really a Christian back then?" If I look at what I wrote and felt, I know I was a Christian. But something is different now, it's like I'm "born again again". And it dawned on me. I feel like I was a "caterpillar Christian" back before I fell away. I spent many years munching on the leaves of God's Word. I loved eating God's Word, but I was still a caterpillar. Then came the time for me to "die and be buried" so I could bring forth much fruit (mixing metaphors here). I had to be wrapped up in my cocoon for 14 years and now I'm a "butterfly Christian" flying in the open space of the kingdom of God with a heart full of faith and joy. Christ is my life! My light! My everything. Moment by moment. It's so amazing.

I see now why I had to fall away. I was a proud man. I wasn't really relying on God for everything. I didn't know how to really trust Him in everything. I relied on my own understanding (Prov 3:5). But now that's all gone. It's been over a year already, but i awake each morning feeling reborn yet again in the never-ending newness of Christ Jesus my Lord. Praise His name now and forever!

I was devastated by your turning from God. I truly didn't understand your reasoning or how you could turn from the mass of evidence you yourself uncovered by the Spirit of GOD. One thing throughout your book that blessed me was your continual praise of God for the Beauty of His mind and Word. I didn't know what to say. I tried on your old forum but to no avail. All I could do was pray for you. I was so conflicted in wanting to share what you found but not wanting folk to go to your forum and read how you abandoned the faith. I was so disappointed.

No doubt Satan hates you for proving the Bible is of God. No doubt he wanted to turn people away from all the proofs you uncovered. I just couldn't understand how you could ignore the Menorah as a prophecy of the Bible. I'm astounded what you shared about that. I'm in awe of the Menorah. So I'm teaching Revelation to a small group and digging into the 2 witnesses which is so deep and so rich. I will teach Revelation 11 tomorrow night. I remembered your image of the two olive trees and went looking to use it and strangely when I googled, your site came up. I looked closer this morning and here you are. wow, you're back!

Brother Bob! Yes! Praise the Lord! Praise our God who has saved us from our sins and is faithful even when we are not!

It's so hard sometimes, thinking about the distress my failures caused people like you. But God is faithful. He was doing in a work in me. And when it comes down to it, no one should rely on external "proof" or "evidence" - real FAITH is a matter of the HEART that turns to God! Think of the first believers who heard the Gospel of Christ and believed with a faith that enabled them die for Christ. They didn't have any external "proof". Their FAITH was the evidence because they KNEW GOD who saved their souls and filled their hearts with His light!

Here's the reality: when TRUTH INCARNATE walked upon this earth, what did we do to Him? We crucified Him! We don't need "proof". We need a broken heart that calls out to God and receives Christ the Lord!

The closer I get to Christ the more He helps me understand what happened. Yes, He revealed endless glory in His Word. And I knew it was true. But I began to rely on the "evidence" more than Him and His Spirit. I forgot what FAITH really means. NowI know in a way I will never forget (by His grace).

Thank you for your prayers! Many saints like you prayed. One was named Bonnie. She would call me and try to talk me back into the faith. I was happy to talk with her (I love talking with people but am pretty isolated) but I told her straight up there was nothing she could say that would make a difference because I had my "arguments" that no one could answer.

I called her last year to tell her the news, and she burst forth with joy like someone who had won the lottery. She later told me she was literally leaping and dancing and thanking God for days. She had faithfully prayed for me for years. She and her husband are now my closest Christian friends. They're in Australia. We talk each Saturday for about 3 hours, luxuriating in the Spirit of God who blesses us beyond measure.

God still has me mostly isolated. I've tried finding a local church with no luck. I went to one and they had EAERPLUGS for old folks like me who didn't want our hearing damaged by their 100 decibel "worship" service. I couldn't even hear the person singing who standing right next to me. So I knew it wasn't of God. The music in most churches I've gone to is much too loud. I don't mind it for a "Christian concert" but it doesn't feel like congregational worship to me. I believe I'm still in the "restoration" phase and God wants me to focus only on Him and the work He has given me to do. I pray I will be able to share it soon. He's put a new fire in my heart and a vision in my soul for the supernatural UNITY of His Holy Word beyond anything I saw before I fell away. He had to break me and break my pride before I could serve Him properly.

Yes, I've seen that, and I'm thankful it is available to everyone. I've published a paperback with the help of another Christian brother Johann from Germany. It's available on Amazon now.

I am only beginning to understand the spiritual warfare we are in. It's something I didn't think about much back in the day before I fell away. Now with the darkness covering the earth, it is becoming much more clear. Please continue to pray for me.

On my walk with Rose this morning God brought John 1:12 to light. He gave us AUTHORITY to be children of God. And I realized I need to exercise that authority! I need to openly state: I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. I have been given the AUTHORITY by GOD HIMSELF to declare that I am a child of the LIVING GOD! He then filled my heart with His Spirit and opened my mind to see how His Word unites. We are born of the WORD OF GOD that abides forever and so we abide forever when we obey His Word.

God has also opened my mind to see many new wonders in the Menorah and how it relates to both the large structure of His Word as well as the alphanumeric structure of Genesis 1:1. Like the new vision and understanding of the large-scale unity of His Word, so I see the same pattern encoded in Genesis 1:1! The six days + sabbath is the root of it all - the very PATTERN OF CREATION in the plain text is encoded throughout His Holy Word! Please pray our blessed Lord continues to give me guidance and strength to complete the revelation of these wonders.

It’s good to hear your testimony Richard. It is one of His grace and that’s a beautiful thing. Thank you for exalting His grace and mercy in your restoration. That honors Him. So thankful for your friends in Australia. The power of prayer is amazing.

Like you say brother, nothing avails but the Holy Spirit convicting us of our lostness and sin and His righteousness leading to a broken heart. Amen. But there will always be the Thomases who need evidence and God is willing to give it to them.

It’s so hard to find a church or group to identify with. I’m now retiring from our local church but realize we have no place to go. We just don’t find fulfillment in the local churches we see. No real worship or prayer and no real unity of believers. I think I may just start a gathering online of like-minded friends who desire unity with our Father and Jesus and long to worship Him in love in oneness with Him in His lovingkindness. And then also a home church with a small group focused on the Word, Prayer and mission.

Yes darkness is covering the earth. It’s everywhere. Satan is constantly attacking God’s children. I personally have found great help with being one with our Father and Lord through Andrew Murray’s devotional, “God’s Best Secrets”. It helps me to stay in Christ and in communion so I feel connected. As you say, “To those who receive Him gave He the authority to become His child”, a royal son, a royal priest of the order of Melchizedek. We surely have a unique status and authority for sure.

Interesting you should mention the uniqueness of the Sabbath. We have started to observe it on our own. As Creator, He established the week and calls for a day of rest… a day to simply treat differently than the other 6. Before he died Charlie Kirk tried to tell everyone how blessed he was to find the Sabbath in his last book.

In any case, I’m looking forward to the things the Lord has shown you.
