The word translated as "answer" in the passage above is the Greek "apologia (S# G0627). Strongs' Concordence
defines it as "a verbal defence" or "a reasoned statement or argument." It is the root of the phrase "Christian Apologetics" which
is the effort to "give a reason for the hope that is in you."
