Spoke 11 - Kaph

1 Kings, Micah, 2 Timothy

The Power of the Spirit

He hath shewed (hagid) his people the power (ko'ach) of his works ...

AV Psalm 111:6a (Kaph)

But truly I am full of power (ko'ach) by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare (hagid) unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

Micah 3:8 (Bible Wheel: Spoke 11, Cycle 2)

Kaph KeyWordsThe literal meaning of the name of the eleventh letter Kaph denotes a variety of similar objects, such as the palm of the hand, a spoon, a palm branch, and the sole of the foot. The letters Yod and Kaph denote different aspects of the "hand" and both have overtones of power, but for different reasons. In the case of Kaph, its meaning as "power" derives primarily from its sense as a "covering" seen in so many Kaph KeyWords such as kasah (cover), kavod (glory), kanaph (wind), and so forth (see Wings of Glory). Thus when the Tabernacle was completed, it was covered (kasah) with the Shekinah glory (kavod) of God's Spirit (see Spoke 21 > The Light of the Word). This kind of power (ko'ach), covering (kasah), and glory (kavod) is strongly associated with the letter Kaph and with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is also associated with revelation, of course. These ideas are the basis of the Alphabetic KeyLink formed by the two verse quoted above. These two verses, and only these two verses, are selected by searching the Hebrew text for ko'ach and *hagid where the asterix (*) is a wildcard that allows for various prefixes. These verses are strongly linked both thematically and in the exact form of the Hebrew words used. We have an Alphabetic KeyLink:

There is only one other passage of Scripture that contains any form of these two words together (allowing for any tense, mood, prefixes, suffixes, and so forth). It is found in Judges 16 when Delilah begs of Samson "Tell me, I pray thee (hagidah-na), wherein thy great strength (ko'achka) lieth."

The really amazing thing is that the verse from Micah 3:8 that is selected by the words used in the Kaph verse of AV Psalm 145 also forms a Spoke 11 Keylink to the Book of 2 Timothy (Spoke 11, Cycle 3). This KeyLink is selected by searching for the set (power, spirit, judgment/mind) [Verify]. This selects Micah 3:8 (quoted above) and this verse from 2 Timothy:

For God hath not given us the spirit of of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7 (Spoke 11, Cycle 3)

We have the KeyLink:

Note that the link passages speak of the spirit of ... of ... of ... of .... The same pattern is seen on the Inner Wheel of Isaiah in Isaiah 11 which has many profound links to what we have seen here on the Bible Wheel. It is especially intriguing to see the "power of the Spirit" displayed here on Spoke 11 which also contains the premier declaration of the inspiration of all Scripture in 2 Timothy (Book 55), and its correlation (again based on Kaph) with Isaiah 55. We have a host of independent lines from both the Bible Wheel and the Isaiah-Bible Correlation converging here on a single point.
