Spoke 11
Romans 11 1 Kings
God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew.
Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias [Elijah]? how he maketh intercession to God
against Israel,
saying, Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone,
and they seek my life. But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven
thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. Even so then at this present
time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
Romans 11 (vss. 2f)
And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said
unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew
nor rain these years, but according to my word.
Book 11 (1 Kings 17.1f)
The Prophet Elijah first appears in the eleventh book of the Bible, 1 Kings.
This correlates precisely
with his debut in the eleventh chapter of Romans, as quoted above. We have the link:
1st Occurrence: Elijah | Romans 11Bible 11 |
Exactly the same phenomenon is seen in both the Inner Cycle of Matthew and the Inner Wheel of Revelation,
with Elijah first appearing by name in Matthew 11 and the Two Prophets with the
Powers of Elijah appearing in Revelation 11.
We also have a number of KeyLinks that center on the Number 7000. First, there are the KeyLinks
connecting Romans 11 to the verses quoted from 1 Kings. We read (1 Kings 19.18):
But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men,
who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
Romans 11 is the only verse to quote this verse. We have therefore this keylink:

We also have these three KeyLink Sets between Romans 11.3 and 1 Kings 19.10:
Here are the linked verses in parallel:
Romans 11 (vs.3) |
1 Kings (vs. 19.10) |
And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the
children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain
thy
prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my
life, to take it away. |
Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars;
and I am left alone, and they seek my life. |
Remember, these are KeyLinks - the quotes appear nowhere else in Scripture.
Romans 11 Revelation 11
The Number 7000 forms a very intriguing link to Revelation, where it is found only in Revelation 11:
Romans 11 (vss. 4f) |
Revelation 11 (vs. 13) |
But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men,
who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. Even so then at this present time also there
is a remnant according to the election of grace. |
And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell,
and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the
remnant were affrighted, and
gave glory to the God of heaven. The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. |

Note the reference to the earthquake in Revelation 11. This links back to the original passage
in 1 Kings and forms a KeyLink, as discussed in the Revelation 11 article.
