Ezekiel and the number 30

Post by gilgalbiblewheel »

This is an observation that not only is Ezekiel the 26th book of the Bible on the 4th Spoke 2nd Cycle, but it is also in the 30th year of Ezekiel. So 30 seems to play a significant role.

The 30th book Amos mentioned the name Joash, meaning God is a fire. And the 8 regions were condemned by fire sent by God in Amos 1, 2 and 5. And the vision in Ezekiel 1 mentions the appearance of fire as the heaven opened.

Yes I would agree. The wheels within wheels of Ezekiel's vision remind me of cycles of time; days, weeks and months all cycling continuously throughout the annual orbit of the Earth around the Sun - the year. 30 happens to be the number of days in the biblical prophetic month.

It is good to see the Bible Wheel discussed seriously.

I thank God that he woke me up from my years of slumber, forgave my sin, and restored my faith and my soul.

The thirty chambers appear to have been distributed along the lines that match the tri-radiant halo as shown in the image below.

I spoke about this in detail in the Bible Wheel book. The section is reproduced here on a Spoke 4 article: Ezekiel: The Foursquare Prophetic Temple.

The meaning of the Number 4 is first established on the Fourth Day of Creation:

Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Note the FOUR: 1) signs, 2) seasons, 3) days, 4) years.

This connects the number 4 with the number 3 to yield 12 = 3 x 4 seasons and a prophetic year of 12 x 30 days. I talk about this and the four quadrants of time in my article The Fourth Day

The divine design of God's Word reveals infinite Wisdom beyond anything humans have ever devised.
