For now--his main thesis is that it is *rational* for Christians to believe in the canon (i.e., for people who believe that the Gospel is true), and that the canon is *self-authenticating* for Christians via three (interrelated) methods: external/historical testimony, internal testimony, and the work of the Holy Spirit. I love how he applies John 10:27 to the canon: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."

In other words, he makes the case that it is actually possible to have a divine canon in the first place, which is one of the fundamental things that has been attacked over the last 200 years.
