Consider the names Nadab and Abihu whom God killed in Leviticus 10 and Abinadab in 2Samuel 6. But as was going through it briefly I couldn't find many common words except for kindled. But in both cases the anger or wrath of the LORD are mentioned and people were killed in both cases.

The similarity between names is curious.
But perhaps there is something going on between Lev 10 and 2 Sam 6 because each account mentions people's irreverent actions against holy liturgical practices. And, as you point out, the Lord's reaction is the same.

I think the reason Aaron's two sons got killed was because they entered in the holy place drunk. While they entered they were clumsy enough by playing with fire that it killed them. Because right after their deaths God told Aaron's descendants not to drink wine nor strong drink prior their entering.
Abinadab was also mentioned in 1Samuel 6 and/or 7. But there's more of a possibility of finding link in 2Samuel since it speaks of wrath and anger.
I noticed the word bring/brought was in common with 1Samuel 6 and 2Samuel 6.
