HidenSeek

Matt 13:33 "Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened".

1Cor2:7 "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory":

:hide: Prov25:2 "It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out the matter". (Tell Him "ICU" !)

Rev 2:17 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna.."

Add Nehemiah 8:12 to the mix.. where those who understood were filled with mirth! Some will call it "cherry picking", but I count it a blessing to have had neighbors in Sioux City, Iowa with a cherry tree in their backyard! :bounce:

So she made three packages of self-raising flour out of it?

 The HIDDEN LEAVEN goes along w Jesus being 'Bread', and the Church being 'One Bread'. W/O leaven (right kind) the church won't Rise to meet the Lord in the air, which is why "Christ in You, the hope of glory", Col 1:27 becomes so important!

Hey there Mr. Duxrow, Sir! :yo:

I spent the better part of two decades being "filled with mirth" every time I found a nice shiny cherry while picking through the mountains of rotten ones. I fully understand your position. I know, from first hand experience, what it feels like to find things that confirm what I want to believe and give the impression of forming a "pattern" that must have been "designed" by god. Every time I found one, I'd get a rush of excitement and "holy goosebumps" that felt really good and that indicated God was confirming my discovery. That's why searching through the Bible for bits and pieces of a "pattern" can become so addictive. Believers become addicted to the "rush" of finding "confirming patterns" just like a gambler or coke addict become hooked on the "rush" of the game or drug.

The Bible is so big and complex it easily ensnares believers prone to addiction to pattern finding. Freedom is easy to attain. The only requirement is a desire for truth.

Well, Rose and I are heading out for our morning three mile hike. Be back in an hour or so.

Trust your bike ride a success, Richard. Now I'd be interested in your take on the video posted by Charisma. A soon coming 'flip' of the magnetic poles, plus approach of 'Nemesis' ?? Within a couple years? :dontknow:

Rotten cherries? What kind of dump serves them? And when you got that "Rush of Excitement" in the old days when you found things in the Bible, did you wonder why Clergy didn't explain or even discuss those nuggets? They seem to insist on leaven being bad; nevermind that it is "hidden leaven" or that Lev23:17 endorses leaven. So many things the 'church' proclaims which are contrary to the Bible. (No need to respond further with your POV.. I don't really expect to change your mind on the subject.. mmph!)
