Eurasian Union - the Second Beast?

Watch out for the Eurasian Union (not to be confused with the European Union i.e. EU) also known as the Eurasian Economic Union(EEU or EaU) formed in 2011 by Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. It is officiated in 2014 and will be effective from 1st Jan 2015.. We need to watch and see the progressive developments of the EEU to further reveal its identity. it seems to fit the description of the second beast of Revelation 13:

1. The Beast of the Earth: Russia and the EEU is a large area covering at least 1/7 of the earth's land mass.
2. It had 2 horns - Russia and the two supporting pioneer countries of the EEU, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
3. v12 - If the 1st beast is the European Union, then the fatal wound that had been healed is Germany after its defeat in WW2. "It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf" seems to suggest the EEU will take over the role and power of the EU. See my thread on the "EU, the beast of revelation":

The combined GDP of EU (currently the world's largest) and EEU will be the largest the world's have ever seen. The combined military forces of the EU and the EEU will also be the most powerful military power in the world surpassing the US...."who can fight against it?".

4. v13 - "And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth" - Russia is the first nation to explore space and sent the first man into space, started the first communist revolution, a super power and tested the first ready-to-use hydrogen bomb.
5. v14 - "Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast", suggests that the EU gives their role and power to the EEU because of their military might and ?economic might. The image seems to be a huge statue which communist countries used to set up such as the statue of Stalin, Mao, Kim.
6. v16-v18 - "to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name" seems to suggest that no one or no country can trade with them unless the have the EEU logo on their hands and forehead (Note: mark on their right hand and forehead may be literal or may also symbolically means that the people and nations have made allegiance(right hand as in a pledge) and agreement(forehead - in one mind) with the EEU. Is EEU the name of the beast or the number of its name? Note the alphabets eeu looks like 666. It is also a number of a man.


The Beast out of the Earth

11 Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. Which is the actual number of the beast, 616 or 666? My gut feeling is 666. I do believe that the number 616 was an attempt to cover up the actual number 666. There are several reasons why 666 is the actual number of the antichrist:

1. The number 666 has been mentioned several times in other books in the Bible whereas the number 616 has not appear anywhere in the Bible e.g. Solomon calculated 666 golden talents.
2. Iranneus the ECF confirmed that 616 is a typo error.
3. The earliest printing of the Bible printed as 666
4. So far my use of gematria has not been able to satisfactory calculate the number 616 belonging to the suspicious antichrist.

1. The Old Testament mentions 666 twice.
In Revelation, most of what we find is a recapitulation or expansion on ideas first introduced in the Old Testament. The number 666 appears four times there, but the number 616 appears nowhere in the Old Testament.

2. This is not news.
Irenaeus was alive in the 2nd century e.v. and he mentioned that he had found this copying error in some copies of Revelation. Hi all,

Please don't mistaken that Putin is definitely the 666 although he is under my radar screen. Of course, I may be wrong . Even Obama is also considered by some to be the 666 based on gematria. What I am showing here is the curiosity and plausibility of gematria which some people deem gematria as a toy which deluded people plays. We need to observe closely how future international events unfold before we can confirm our suspicions.

“A man like Putin always goes to the limits. He always tries to find out how strong the others are” and then re-positions himself accordingly, she told Bild am Sonntag.

“His latest aggression in Ukraine must be answered with a joint reaction by the West,” she said in an interview published to coincide with the Berlin launch of her book “Hard Choices”.

“I believe he can be dangerous,” she added, in response to questions about Moscow’s annexation of Ukraine’s Crimea peninsula and Russia’s tactics in the east of the ex-Soviet state.

Asked at her book presentation about what it was like to deal personally with the Russian strongman, she said he was “a tough customer, with a pretty thick skin”.

Still, she agreed with a quip from one journalist that he sounded “like a Russian cowboy”, to which she jokingly responded: “Yes, exactly — with or without shirt”.
