The Final Metaphor?
Revelation 22:16 - I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Started as the Lamb, and proceeded to the Son/Sun, Word, Sword, Vine, Light, Bread, Rock, Rejected Stone, Seed 1Pet1:23, Amen, Author&Finisher - Heb12:2, Alpha & Omega, Door - John 10:7, Resurrection - Jn11, Bridegroom - Mt25, Promised Son - Rom9:9, Lion of Judah: Rev5:5.. Question is: Do we recognize all these as metaphors?
