Hey there Scott,
Do you really think there is any meaning to "Sumerian" gematria of English sentence fragments? Don't you know that you could find words that would sum to anything you want? And why Sumerian gematria?
Every time a Christian cries "WOLF!" their testimony is confirmed as foolishness. 88 Reasons Why Jesus will Return in 1988! Followed by the sequel, 89 Reasons Jesus will Return in 1989! It is foolishness, pure foolishness. Is that all your religion means to you? It's so worthless you don't care if you give people good reason to mock and reject it?

Isnt that what your"purposely" trying to do Richard, give people good reason to mock and reject it. And why are you so uptight and bothered, by my FREETHINKING,and meaningless imaginary numbers[according to you],its starting to make me feel more confident that i may be right, and that maybe the devil doesnt want people to see this information, like the timeline from Adam till now, using 1318 and 666 as measurement. If you really thought i was being foolish, you wouldnt be trying so hard to discourage me from showing these things, instead you would sit back and think, what crazy stuff is he going to come up with next. You seem a little stressed, about my idea's,and it really makes me wonder why.

Hey there Scott,
The first thing to remember when talking to folks online is that it is very difficult to know how they are feeling since we have no tone of voice of body language to go by, and worse, it's all too easy to read our own feelings into their words. Exactly the same words can have opposite meanings depending on how they are said. For example, a simple "hello" could be very warm and friendly in one tone of voice, or entirely antagonistic in another.
I'm saying all this because you have interpreted my words as indicating that I am "uptight and bothered" and "stressed." Nothing could be further from the truth, as you would know if you could hear me talking in person. I am simply curious about your thought process. It is quite easy for anyone with moderate intelligence to conclude that your number patterns are entirely meaningless. It appears you have not even attempted to think about them rationally. I say this because you have not tried to answer any of my questions about why you or anyone should think they are meaningful. Your answer made it sound like you think it's a meaningless game that you are playing because you have nothing better to do, and that it wouldn't matter if you are wrong since folks won't have to wait too long to find out. Specifically, here is the answer you gave in post #9 (http://www.biblewheel.com/forum/showthread.php?4873-Impossible!-I-m-of-the-body-of-Christ&p=56656#post56656) of the other thread:
Hi Richard , I had a feeling already that you wouldnt get a kick out of it, but i do,and i think its pretty cool that those years are only 1 to 3 away,so i wont have to waste much time wondering if im wrong about it, cuz it "looks" like i found it just in time, so im gonna go with it for now,for lack of anything more exciting in my life at this time. But i have to mention, the spans of years, whether linked with years of Jesus,or played out in full, are timed out perfectly with Blood Moons and Solar Eclipses[start and finish],so im going to make an educated guess, using all the accumulative evidence that points to his soon return[since i found none, to support that he isnt coming soon.]and say that what ive found is Totally Designed.
You answered as if it were all a game. Is the return of Christ just a game to you? Did you really intend to imply that it doesn't matter if a person speaks truth or not, so long as they are entertained while not having "anything more exciting in their lives at this time"? Is it all really that meaningless and trivial? Is warning that the earth may be destroyed by meteors just another harmless speculation?
I am not the one mocking the Bible and Christ and giving people good reason to reject it all a absurd. Christians have been doing that by making FALSE PREDICTIONS for two thousand years. And here you are, making more ridiculous assertions that are obviously false and you can't understand that from a Christian perspective it is a grave sin to mislead people and to cause the name of God to be blasphemed. The Bible talks about this kind of behavior in Romans 2:24 "For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written."
So here's the most important question: Why do you believe that random coincidences of letters and numbers have any meaning? I asked you this many times and you never answer. Specifically, using Super Sumerian Gematria (a = 9, b = 18, c = 27, etc) we have this set of identities:
JESUS = 666 = LUCIFER = MUHAMMAD
How do you understand that? Don't bother making up an "explanation" - my point is that any random association of letters and numbers will produce meaningless coincidences.
Now finally, you probably wonder why I am so interested in this topic. I want to know why people believe what they believe. It is profoundly ironic that believers believe they believe in the "truth" when in fact they are further from the truth than any other group of people as far as I can tell. You really should think about this. All your predictions about 2016 will prove FALSE. Don't you care? This seems insane to me. How can you say that you are devoted to Jesus who is the TRUTH INCARNATE even as you write post after post of falsehoods? Your actions prove that your faith is false. You have nothing to do with "truth" in any way at all. It appears that you don't even respect your own words, let alone God, Jesus, and the Bible.
I hope you take these words in the spirit they are intended. I am not "uptight" and I am not mad at you. I'm trying to see if there is any way to get through to you, to help you see that your words make a mockery of your religion.
I hope this conversation continues,
All the best,
Richard

First of all, if you use a system of Gematria that's makes the name of JESUS add to 666...then theres a good chance your using the wrong system!
Ivan Panin wrote several books filled with numeric miracles after 52yrs of investigation, and demonsrated the chances of them existing, according to the law of chances.,You balked at his findings and demonstrations, and used the fact that he made 3 or 4 math errors,as an EXCUSE to dismiss everything he found, that clearly proved the bible to be Gods word. Now here you are telling me,and trying to sound sincere about it,that i should explain why i believe in what im finding, and why anybody else should also, before you can begin to consider that i might be on to something.I wont be taking time away from my two boys,to have a never ending haggling session, with someone who has decided,NO MATTER WHAT,not to believe in God,nor any evidence that is presented to prove his existence. You believe im foolish,...I believe your foolish, the difference is,i have a book that claims the Creator of the Universe backs me up(the fool hath said in his heart, there is no GOD),and confirms my belief,....whos backing you up?

Three Requirements to accomplish the task of Revelation 13:18
Wisdom+Understanding+Counting=[2016]
[Adam]1318 . 666 . 2016[JC 33]1318 . 666[YR.2016]
This timeline is based on Panins chronology studys
I decided to take Revelation 13:18 and the number it insructs us to count 666,because of its importance,
and fit it into the timeline from Adam to the year 2016,because in case you havent heard, there are many
prophecy experts also claiming evidence, that 2016 will be a very significant year. Top this with some numeric
evidence to prove me wrong.

If it turns out that your right about me making a mockery of Gods word as you are,the difference will be ,you did it intentionally, and i unintentionally,so youre in no position to say anything to me,and im sure im not the only person using this website, that sees something going on in that timeline.Problem is ,they wont likely speak up, for fear of being verbally bullied by someone who is very good with words, and very knowledgeable, but, the "EVER LEARNING, AND NEVER ABLE TO COME TO A KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH" scripture applies to you.

To answer your question about this being a game to me,..Of Course Not. I work hard almost everyday as a landscaper,at the age of 51,and i still have two young boys to raise, one of them, who is very shy, suffers badly with tourettes ,and O.C.D,and ADHD,and flys into a rage several times a day, because of it using up all his patience, that he needs for everyday life, which is already tough enough.I believe God has given me insight, into what ive been showing on this site,to give me a ray of HOPE,that he at least "might" be coming soon[im more certain than that].If im wrong, that will be 2 or 3 years of Hope, that i wouldnt have experienced, had i not believed what i was seeing. If im wrong ,life will carry on,I have children counting on me. There isnt a minister, or pastor,or preist that understands the bible 100%,but they cant let that stop them from trying to understand what its saying, and then teach it to others, even the mistakes they made over the centuries . Are they mocking Gods word also,or just trying to comprehend it. I believe anything that looks like evidence for Christs soon return, should be thoroughly investigated, and brought to peoples attention,to get their imput as well. When i said i didnt trust you,i wasnt talking about everyday life situations,i was talking about the bible and spiritual matters. You have CLEARLY turned your back on GOD,therefore your advice on whats happening to me,means nothing....sorry.

Hey there Scott,
It sounds like you are starting to rant. You have ignored all my questions and comments and have thrown in irrelevant comments that are logically incoherent. We are not talking about Ivan Panin. His work was focused on counting the number of words, verbs, nouns, letters, and so on, in the original Greek. The validity or invalidity of his work has absolutely nothing to do with your calculations based on random English phrases. Why don't you engage me in rational discourse? Unfortunately, the answer appears to be because you cannot, because your claims are fundamentally irrational.
You ask "who is backing me up"? The truth, based on logic and facts, is backing me up. Your claim that you "have a book" that "confirms your belief" is meaningless. The Bible says nothing about predicting the future by calculating the values of random English phrases! Get serious dude! You have not shown how it supports anything you say, and worse, you have not shown why anyone should believe the Bible since it is filled with errors, contradictions, logical absurdities, and moral abominations attributed to God. And worse yet, you have not shown that you understand that totally devoted Bible believers often come to radically contradictory conclusions, so it is absurd to simply assert that the Bible supports all your personal beliefs. For example, David M on this forum adamantly asserts that Jesus is not God and that the Trinity is false, yet is firmly believes in the Bible as God's Word. Where do you stand on this question? The difference between being merely a man vs. being God is INFINITE! Yet folks on both sides claim to be following what the Bible really teaches.
It would be great if you could answer my questions rather than making up excuses to avoid answering.
All the best,
Richard
