good afternoon. I would like to find references to each time the first letter and the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet are in the Old Testament to do some research to compare to the Alpha and Omega of the Greek can anyone give me some direction as to how to do that search. Or simply post references if you've already done that. Thank you so much.

You could download an electronic version of the Hebrew text - it is freely available from many sites on the net - and then write a little program to count the number of the letters.
What sort of pattern would you expect to find? A lot of folks feel that the word spelled with an aleph and tav (which basically means "sign" or "miracle") points to God as Alpha and Omega. I wrote about this here (http://www.biblewheel.com/Wheel/CapstoneSignature.php). I think it is obvious that the Greek Alpha Omega corresponds to the Hebrew concept of Aleph Tav as all encompassing, beginning and end. But I doubt there is any correlation of the letters such as you have mentioned.

from alpha to omega is not similar to from alef to thau
good wishes to solve this, but you have to know what is the real life tree with the real signs and this knows noone here down on this boring dieing planet, because they are all lazy or ignorante.
but hte deppest piont of life tree is under water and burnning and this means omega.
in dreams you are sometimes in rooms were this burnning eye of your planet look into you, by the way this mean that rooms of dreams are not only selfreflections, sometimes you are only in other spaehrs of life and acting like living.
therfore it normal interacting with life forms in outer space but designed for your mind in human acting scenzes.
come on, this knows everybody around your world only the human not?????
waters are wisphering in the night from world to world and their heavens

See: http://www.theologyweb.com/campus/showthread.php?1225-quot-I-am-the-Alpha-and-the-Omega-quot
"I am the Alpha and the Omega"
Only already the saying: "I am the Alpha and the Omega" might prove that Revelation was written in Greek, and not in Aramaic.
If was meant "I am the first and the last letter of the (any) Alphabet", then it should be translated: "I am the A and the Z", which is just meaningless nonsense.
Like also meaningless: "I am the Aleph and the Tav".
Etc.

"alef" (= 1) is the inner light of the letter "ayin" (= 70) - Which might be also expressed by "I am the Alpha and the Omega".
Which might also hint at Babylonian dispersion.
It is said that from Babel went out 70 nations (enumerated in Genesis 10) with 70 languages
Genesis 11:9, Therefore, He named it Babel, for there the Lord confused the language of the entire earth, and from there the Lord scattered them upon the face of the entire earth.
Where it says, Matthew 28:19, Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,
I bet the 70 nations are meant, like also in Matthew 24:14,
And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Babylonian dispersion took place at the end of 15 generations, the first 15 of the 26 generations from Adam to Moses (revelation at mount Sinai).
coinciding the "y-h" part of the name of God, that is in the initial letters of "yom hashishi", the sixth day, in Genesis 1:31.
Omega would make the thirteenth of Sefer Yetsirah's simple letters :winking0071:
