Richard,
I will start by answering you question below.
Does that mean you are suggesting the "Seventh Millennium" begins around 2026 AD? (That's assuming Christ was born around 4 BC.)
If so, does that mean that you accept Bishop Usher's calculations that put creation at 4004 BC?
I believe the 7th Millennium may well begin sometime during the years 26-30 AD. I also in general agree with much of Usher’s chronology. Based on my calculations I believe that Adam was created about the year 4000 BC. I also believe that Yashua was born in 4 BC.
Here is some related information that I believe you will appreciate.
In the first book and the 1st chapter of the New Testament we are given the genealogy of Yashua. To say the least this list is most unusual and amazing. This list has long been a source of debate and confusion. In the list of Matthew 1 the narrative text states that there are 3 sets of 14 generations from Abraham to Yashua. In actuality there are only 41 names. (14+14+13) Now based on the generations as given in Chronicles we know that 4 names were purposely left of the list of Matthew. The list of Matthew corrected to include the missing names gives 45 generations from Abraham to Yashua. If we then add the names all the way back YHWH at the creation of Adam (Luke 3 basis) we then get 66 names. Now I am sure you automatically see the significance of this. From YHWH to Yashua there are 66 generation. In the most commonly accepted version of the Scripture today we have 66 books from Genesis (YHWH) to Revelation (Yashua). Pretty amazing if you ask me. Now this is were it really gets exciting.
*******Please note I will post a separate thread for the charts and tables. This I believe is the best way to keep a full sized full quality .gif without causing most people to have to scroll to read the posts. The thread will be called Charts and Tables*********
I believe I can make a very good case that Yashua was born in the year 3997 from the year of creation. (4000-4 BC) The number of finished years then between YHWH at creation and the birth of Yashua is 3996. Stated slightly differently there are 666 x 6 years of mankind’s history interrupted by the birth of the Messiah.
The list of Matthew has another very interesting feature. That is there are 41 names on the original list which begins with Abraham and ends with Yashua. The next post will further explore this unusual fact.

Again I believe I can make a very good case for identifying the Sabbath and Jubilee cycles in the Scripture. The basis for the Sabbath and Jubilee cycles if found in the 2nd temple era chronology. I will post a Table showing this chronology and references for this on the thread Charts and Tables.
If we take the 4000 year chronology and the 2nd temple era chronology as the basis for the overall chronology from Adam and then extrapolate the Jubilee and Sabbath cycles backwards to year 1 some amazing features are observed.
1. Abraham was born in the 41st Jubilee cycle.
2. Moses to whom the Jubilee was 1st given was born in the 50th Jubilee cycle.
3. Isaac was born exactly on the 43rd Jubilee.
4. The Tabernacle was completed in the 52nd Jubilee cycle
5. The 1st Temple was completed in the 62nd Jubilee cycle
6. The 2nd Temple was completed in the 72nd Jubilee cycle
7. Yashua the Messiah was born during the 82nd Jubilee cycle
8. Abraham was born during the 41st Jubilee cycle.
9. Yashua was born during the 82nd Jubilee cycle. (41 x 2 = 82)
10. The 123 Jubilee falls in 2028-2029 AD which is 2000 years from Yashua’s ministry and Resurrection (41 x 3 = 123)
11. The 144th Jubilee falls in the year 7008 year from Adams Creation. This may well mark the beginning of the great 8th day, the renewal of the Heaven and Earth and the New Jerusalem.
12. The times of Israel, from the birth of Isaac to the last atonement sacrifice of the 2nd temple in 69 AD was exactly 40 Jubilees.
13. From that point I believe the times of the gentiles began which I also believe will be 40 Jubilees in length. YHWH is truly no respecter of persons. These 40 Jubilees end on the 123rd Jubilee.
I do not believe the list of Matthew 1 was an accident or coincidence. It may well be a prophetic key showing part of YHWH plan of reconciliation of mankind through Yashua the Messiah.
****See Table 3 on the thread Charts & Tables******
In the next post I will try to explain how I see all the cycles in a Macro perspective.

I would like to preface the next post by clearly stating I do not believe we will ever know the day or the hour of Yashua's return beforehand. I really do not even think we will know for sure the year. I do think we can know the season. I definitely know we will look back with hind sight and see the matchless wisdom and love of our Creator in reconciling us to Him through Yashua His son. The table I have posted in the thread Charts and Tables shows how I believe the Chronological cycles fit together from Creation to the 144th Jubilee. Please take them with the appropriate measure of reservation.

The following 3 Biblical heroes show what I believe are prophetic Antetypes of the Messiah. In my opinion they show the work of Yashua at Calvary as well point to the future work of Yashua at the end of this age.
Messianic Antetypes – Joshua (Yashua) the Salvation of YA.
I like to think of Joshua the son of Nun as the Fisherman’s son. (Nun = fish) In the Scripture Joshua is one of the clearest Antetypes of the Messiah ever given. Right down to his name. Originally the son of Nun was called Hosea (Salvation). Moses changed the name of Hosea (Salvation) to Joshua (Jehoshua) Salvation of YA. (Num. 13:16)
At the end of the 40 years in the wilderness the children of Israel were ready to enter the Promised Land. It is most illustrative that Israel did not enter the Promised land under the leadership of Moses (to whom was given the law). Israel entered the Promised Land under the leadership of Yashua. (Salvation of YA) Clearly this shows the promise could not be obtained under the Law of Moses.
Now after Moses died Joshua received specific instructions pertaining to the crossing of the river Jordan (descender) and the entry into the Promised Land. 'After 3 days' the children of Israel were command to follow behind the Ark of the Covenant by 2000 cubits because 'ye have not passed this way heretofore'. This unusual instruction is made even more curious when later in Joshua 3 it states the ark stopped in the Jordan until all the people had crossed over. Could this have prophetic implications? Even more amazing is the description of what happened when the feet of those baring the ark entered the water of the Jordan. The water backed up all the way to the city of Zaretan (their distress) and the city of Adam. Is that not a perfect picture of what happened when Yashua died (crossed over) for our sins. His blood washed away the sin and distress of mankind all the way to Adam. Once all the people were on the other side of the Jordan, Joshua circumcised them. (Josh. 5:1-3) What an amazing picture of the Messiah’s work at Calvary with possible implications for Israel’s restoration to the Promised Land 2000 years after the Ark and the crossing of the Jordan.
Joshua 3:1-17 KJV Joshua 3:1 And Joshua rose early in the morning; and they removed from Shittim, and came to Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they passed over. 2 And it came to pass after three days, that the officers went through the host; 3 And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of YHWH your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it. 4 Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure: come not near unto it, that ye may know the way by which ye must go: for ye have not passed this way heretofore. 5 And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow YHWH will do wonders among you. 6 And Joshua spake unto the priests, saying, Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. And they took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people. 7 And YHWH said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee. 8 And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When ye are come to the brink of the water of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan. 9 And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, Come hither, and hear the words of YHWH your God. 10 And Joshua said, Hereby ye shall know that the living God is among you, and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites. 11 Behold, the ark of the covenant of YHWH of all the earth passeth over before you into Jordan. 12 Now therefore take you twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, out of every tribe a man. 13 And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of YHWH, YHWH of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap. 14 And it came to pass, when the people removed from their tents, to pass over Jordan, and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people; 15 And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,) 16 That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho. 17 And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of YHWH stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.
Joshua 5:1-3 KJV Joshua 5:1 And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, which were by the sea, heard that YHWH had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Israel. 2 At that time YHWH said unto Joshua, Make thee sharp knives, and circumcise again the children of Israel the second time. 3 And Joshua made him sharp knives, and circumcised the children of Israel at the hill of the foreskins.
Colossians 2:10-11 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
Hebrews 10:22 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Romans 2:28-29 8 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
1 Corinthians 10:1-4 KJV 1 Corinthians 10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Messianic Antetypes - Hosea (Salvation ) the hope of Messianic restoration.
The apostle Paul in Galatians 2:7-8 stated that Peter was the apostle to the circumcision as He (Paul) was the apostle to the uncircumcision. While they both had ministries that obviously overlapped they did have a primary focus to their respective callings. I believe that when this context is kept in mind an additional perspective can be gained. The epistles of Peter are an example of this. Notice the language of 1 Peter 2:9-12 where Peter address his epistle to them “which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy”, which were “not a people” but now “ the people of God”. He also admonishes them to keep their “conversation honest among the Gentiles”. Keeping in mind that Paul stated Peter’s ministry was to the Jewish people we see that the phrases above were taken right out of the Old Testament promises given in Hosea. In Hosea 2:12-23 it states “I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy”, and “I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people”.
Peter is addressed these Jewish believers in terms they understood and knew. He admonishes them to set an example for the Gentiles. In this context Peters statement of 2 Peter 3:8-10 makes much more sense. Peter is still calling up the prophecy of Hoses to show the promises of YHWH. He is explaining the 3 days of Hoses in terms of how YHWH counts time.
Hosea 6:1-3 Come, and let us return unto YHWH: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. 3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know YHWH: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
2 Peter 3:8-10 8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with YHWH as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 YHWH is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of YHWH will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Galatians 2:7-8 7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter; 8 (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles.
1 Peter 2:9-12 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. 11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; 12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
Hosea 2:21-23 21 And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith YHWH, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth; 22 And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel. 23 And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.
It is also worth noting that Hoses 6 mentions YHWH’s coming as a “former” (fall) and later(spring) rain.
In summary I believe that when 2 Peter 3:8-10 is taken in the context of the people it was addressed to it shows that Peter was explaining the 3 days of Hosea 6. Each of these days was equal to 1000 years. While Peter was likely addressing the promise of Jewish messianic restoration it is also relevant to note that this promise of 3 days was also fulfilled on a smaller and symbolic scale by Yashua’s death and resurrection. (after 3 days)

Messianic Antetypes - Moses & 40
1 Corinthians 10:1-4 KJV 1 Corinthians 10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
Moses’ life can be separated into 3 periods of 40 years. The 1st period of 40 years began with Moses being place in the water of the Nile. 40 years later Moses attempts to make peace between the two Hebrew brothers who were fighting. (figurative of Israel and Judah the two “sticks” ???) They reject him and the deliverance that he offered. He left and spent 40 years in the land of Midian (strife). The prince of Midian had 7 daughters. ( Possibly symbolic of the 7 churches? ) During the 40 years Moses spent in Midian the Children of Israel underwent tremendous persecution. While Moses was in Midian he married one of the daughters of the priest. (It is worth noting here that after the Exodus Moses also married a Cushite woman. Exo. 2:13-16) - Even at this early stage the Children of Israel were not exclusively Hebrew. The same can be said for Joseph’s sons)
After the burning bush Moses now 80 years returned to deliver the children of Israel from their bondage to the power of Pharaoh. (symbolic of the adversary and/or the gentile power ??) Note Moses again sets out to deliver the Children of Israel at the end of 40 years. This time he was successful and they agree to follow him. As part of that deliverance Israel was commanded to slay a Passover sacrifice and mark the door posts of their house with the blood so that the angle of death would “pass over”. The next morning Israel left Goshen and travel to the Red Sea. Early in the morning of the 3rd day all Israel “crossed over” into a new life of freedom from the bondage to the pharaoh of Egypt. Unfortunately they immediately began to rebel against the leadership of Moses and the Law of YHWH. Because of their lack of faith they spent another period of 40 years ( a year for each day spent search out the land of Canaan) wandering in the wilderness with only the hope of the Promised Land. At the end of this 40 years Moses died and Israel entered the Promised Land under the leadership of Yashua the son of Nun. Again they “crossed over” the waters and were circumcised by the hand of Yashua.
Now fast forward about 1500 years. Yashua the Messiah, of whom Moses was just a shadow, is baptized in the water of the Jordan river by John. Immediately he went and spent 40 days in the “wilderness” to be tempted by Satan. At the end of this 40 days he came and preached Deliverance. (Luke 4:17-21) Most of the Children of Israel again rejected His attempted deliverance. A short time later they killed Him. After Yashua “crossed over” from death unto life he was see of them 40 days and then ascended into heaven.
During his ministry Yashua warned the children of Israel to repent. He gave them the sign of Jonah. While Jonah was in the belly of the fish for 3 days and nights, Jonah also told the Ninevites they had 40 days to repent or Judgment would fall on them. The ninevites repented but the Jews of Yashua’s generation did not repent. After they killed him exactly 40 years later their Temple, their City and their way of life was destroyed.
Today we live in the 40th Jubilee cycle from the fulfillment of that sign of Jonah. Physical Israel eat the “bread of Heaven” for 40 years before they could enter the Promised Land. All believers have been eating the “bread of Heaven” for the last 40 Jubilees since the Jewish people rejected their deliverer. Will they get another chance to enter the physical Promised Land of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and David? Will YHWH again gather physical Israel and set up a physical kingdom here on earth, a physical kingdom rule by Yashua? I believe he will. If so, I believe we are in that “season”.
With this Hope in mind, Maranatha!

Exodus 2:13-16 13 And when he went out the second day, behold, two men of the Hebrews strove together: and he said to him that did the wrong, Wherefore smitest thou thy fellow? 14 And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? intendest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known. 15 Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. Luke 4:17-21 17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 18 The Spirit of YHWH is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of YHWH. 20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. I just read this whole thread. I will tell you that the post about Moses was wonderful. I just love how so many of the types in the OT so precisely prefigure Jesus. I wonder how you can prove the 40th jubilee thing?
I once found that same kind of "insight" in the passage about the spies returning from the land of Canaan with the grapes. I see in that a picture of Jesus on the cross (the pole with the giant grapes) with the two thieves on either side (the spies with no faith who stole the grapes). Most of Israel faithlessly rejected God's offer of the promised land when they believed the report about the giants adn not the report of God and the remnant. This forshadows Israel's majority's rejection of the gospel because they failed to recognize God and His power in their midst in Jesus. The 40 days of spying were turned into a judgment of 40 years in the wilderness. I don't know where the jubilees stop at in Jesus' ministry, but Israel has been under judgment of wandering in the "wilderness of the nations" (Ezk 22) for 40 jubiless and have now begun some level of return (albeit in the transitory state of unbelief). Jesus' blood is even symbolized by the "blood of the grape." So is the the "Joshua generation?"

"23. Then they came to the valley of Eshcol (cluster) and from there cut (Hebre: B'rit. to "cut" and animal for making a covenant, or a "b'rit") down a branch (also later a term applied to the prophecied Messiah when fortelling His priestly role) with a single cluster of grapes; and they carried it (shadowing the uplifted cross) on a pole (the cross) between two men(the two thieves, these men were also theives), with some of the pomegranates and the figs." Eliyahu,
I can prove how I arrived at my calculations for the Jubilee cycles but I really do not think we will know until after the fact. I mean I know that we are in the last 20 years of the 40th Jubilee from the destruction of Jerusalem. But is this the last Jubilee cycle before the return of the Messiah? As they say time will tell. If correct, we will look back and see hand of YHWH directing the course of Biblical history to accomplish His will.
Your 'insight' concerning the grapes is very interesting. I will have to add that to my 'tool box' concerning the symbolism of Moses and Joshua. Thank’s

That is excactly what I think. I can show how I came up with the 40 jubilee idea. The whole zietgiest of the Jubilee is embodied by Jesus and the gospel. Jesus affirmed this when He "inaugerated" His ministry at the synagogue when He read Isaiah where it said "the Spirit of the LORD is upon me..." That passage is about the Jubilee being brought to complete fulfillment of its fullest intent by the Messiah. So if you take the jubilee as the "mission statement" of the Messiah, you get the Jubilee as the template of His ministry. The number 40 often accompanies a period of trial, temptation and waiting, etc. We can take the numerous examples of this and kind of draw a conclusion that about 40 jubilees from Messiah's ministry (or you put it from 70 AD) this period of trial, waithing and temptation will conclude (hence Jesus' return in that generation or even during whenever the 40th jubilee actually happens). But, like you said, it is only vindicated in retrospect. For that reason I only take this thing with a grain of salt. I "keep in in my back pocket."
It is not a doctrine or solid method to predict things though. It can be dangerous if we take things like this too seriously. After all, the Scriptures never do this kind of reckoning. We ought to tread carefully whenever we try to interpret the scriptures in ways that the authors of scriptures did not (as far as we know). Also, a rule of exegeses is that you do not interpret something differently than the author intended. This can have legitimate exeptions which leaves us with the burden to be very careful whenever we do such.
In fact, similar schemes have destructively misled many people numerous times over church history. Think about way different ways you might interpret things if you lived in centuries ago, or centuries from now should the Lord tarry. There is a great book entitled End Time Delusions, The Doomsday Obsession, by Richard Abanes. It was very helpful to me. Also, In Pursuit of the Millennium, I forget the author now.
The enemy can lead the best of us with a spirit of error. We can be made irrelevant to the kingdom and the world by it. It can blind us to truth from others. It can puff us up to believe that we have the revelation and it is the right one. Each of us needs to constantly humble ourselves before God to be safe from these things. No one has all the answers perfectly. I am not at all trying to say that you have a spirit of error. Please understand, I am just encouraging you as a brother and everyone else who reads this. :thumb: After all, this kind of carefulness is quite important.
