Ps 27:1

Just popped in to post a couple of videos that "say" a lot.
The first one shows that you can't always trust your senses. Starting around 17 minutes is a real "eye opener". BTW, my parents met at Moody and I went there for 1 semester as a major in music.

The second one was one I was trying to find when I made my illusive icosahedron thread. I did this with my Geometry students and they were fascinated with it. The three x's make 30 in Roman numerals, the number of edges. Also, the price of the cross. Notice there are 12 vertices, steel balls. At 1:21 (121 = 11^2) 11 are on the door, 1 is off. Hmmm. Stop the video at :55. Notice the center x. There is much more, but I'll let you discover on your own, if so interested. BTW, just as that icosahedron reveals something when spun, so does the Biblewheel when you "spin" it.

Hello Steve
Just popped in to post a couple of videos that "say" a lot.

Optical illusions like this always fascinates me. Looking at the 2-dimensional image, we loose a sense of perspective until the camera pans back and shows us another view. we are missing the third dimension. When we stare a flat screen with a 2-dimensional image, we are not giving our sense of sight all the information it requires. We have two eyes to determine the third dimension that is depth. The eyes are not able to use parallax to determine objects near and far. A person with one eye is at slight disadvantage and would have to move the position of the head side-to-side to compensate. When we are not presented with all the facts like our senses are deprived of information, then we are likely to be deceived. It is up to us to use all the facts we can in order to get to the truth.
Incidentally, when looking up the following verses I noticed the word "sight" has 333 occurrences in my KJV PC-based Bible; 333 might be an interesting number to consider.
(2Cor 5:7) (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) Thomas was privileged to have seen the resurrected Jesus (John 20:20) Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. Because we have not seen Jesus in the flesh, is no reason for us not to have faith in the resurrection.

Some might liken the spinning of the Bible wheel to the spinning of a roulette wheel and what you have is like a game of chance as to what the truth is, by selective picking of verses. The outcome from reading all of the Bible and leaving nothing out gives us one of two choices, which we do not have to gamble on, but we have to make a positive choice. As God said to the Children of Israel, the same choice is put before us; (Deut 30:19) I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life,
David
