Hi,

I am new to this site. I have just been searching for some enlightenment I suppose and stumbled onto this website. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about a dream I have had. I can only describe what I remember obviously. I remember it was a rather short dream, but here is what I can think of.
I was walking through an empty dwelling..not sure if it was a house or something bigger. One room had broken glass all over the floor, so naturally I avoided that room. In the next room, it was dark with a little light coming from somewhere and all of a sudden I started floating. As I was floating, a clear glass vase that looked like it was filled with blood that was also floating spilled over in mid-air streaming downward. Everything turned black. Then...just like movie credits these appeared as follows. The word "All" ....then blackness. The number "4" ...then blackness. The number "34" ....then blackness. That was the end. So "All 4 34". I have no idea what that means. Any ideas would be helpful. It has been bothering me for a long time. Thanks.

:welcome:Hi Seeker7, this probably won't help much with your dream, but the number 4 got my attention, so for what its worth --

Four Seasons, Gospels, winds, corners, horses, beasts - Judah was 4th son
Important: think of four as 22 or "two-twice" !! 4 days of Lazarus, 4th generation of Gen15:16 - 4 ltr (YHWH) tetragrammaton

The Most Amazing Numbers.. You don't have to know Greek or Hebrew or advanced mathematics.

Just count the 4 that lead to David: Boaz, Obed, Jesse, David (Ruth4:21)

Then the 4 leading to Jesus: Jacob, Joseph, Mary, Jesus (Matt 1:16)

Then consider the 4 prior to the Ark's leaving: Enoch-II, Methuselah, Lamech-II, Noah

Enoch is the 7th generation and Lamech is the 9th. Wouldn't it be more than a coincidence if Jesus-the-WORD is all 66 books of the Bible,
and the second Jacob is the 63rd? :thumb:

Hey there Seeker7,

Welcome to our forum!

:welcome:

Dreams played a very important role in my life back around 1990-1993. I had recently quit working on my physics PhD and was in a "seeking" mode, looking for a worldview that was bigger than that encompassed by science, logic, and facts. I began recording my dreams and exploring altered states of consciousness through meditation and other means (entheogens). This site, or rather the Historical Archive (http://www.biblewheel.com/default.php) of what it was from 2001 - 2011, was the result of what I found.

One of the things that impressed me most was that the dream symbols seemed to cohere with the corresponding Hebrew words and their gematria values. This seems to be the case with your dream too. Your dream contains many elements that are strongly associated with the Number 4 and the fourth Hebrew letter Dalet.

The fourth Hebrew letter is called "Dalet." It means "door." It is a symbol of the two great "doors" that lead into and out of this world - Birth and Death. Both are associated with blood which is a Dalet KeyWord DM (dawm = blood). The ideas of blood, birth, and death all make their biblical debut Genesis 4. Indeed, the word translated as "birth" is spelled TLD (teled) which is "dalet" backwards:
Genesis 4:1 Now the man had relations with his wife Eve, and she conceived and gave birth (TLD) to Cain, and she said, "I have gotten a manchild with the help of the LORD."
I talk about these things in my article Genesis 4: Birth, Death, Blood, Door (http://www.biblewheel.com/InnerWheels/Genesis/Genesis04.php).

The appearance of the numbers in your dream is particularly intriguing because the number 434 is the numerical value of the name of the fourth letter Dalet:

DLT (Dalet) = 4 (D) + 30 (L) + 400 (T) = 434.

Did you know this?

The symbolic elements of your dream are strongly coherent in both image and number. It reminds me of my Dumbo Dream (http://www.biblewheel.com/forum/showthread.php?2619-Looking-for-Dumbo) in which I received a coherent set of symbols and numbers.

All the best,

Richard

Genesis 1:31,

And God saw all that He had made, and behold it was very good, and it was evening and it was morning, the sixth day.

Hebrew:

וַיַּרְא אֱלֹהִים אֶת כָּל אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה וְהִנֵּה טוֹב מְאֹד וַיְהִי עֶרֶב וַיְהִי בֹקֶר יוֹם הַשִּׁשִּׁי

כָּל, "kol" = all, from root "kalah" = to be finished, completed ,like also the first word of Genesis 2:1, "vay'chulu", וַיְכֻלּוּ = " and they were completed

The first chapter of Genesis comprises 434 words.

"hashishi" is the 434th.

The name of God is hidden in the initial letters of "yom hashishi", יוֹם הַשִּׁשִּׁי, and of "vaychulu hashamyim", וַיְכֻלּוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם, the last tow words of Genesis 1 and the first two words of Genesis 2, thus forming the entrance of Sabbath (Name that otherwise doesn't occur in the first story of creation.)

Thanks for your input everyone! Dreams are so confusing to me and I have had many "different" ones. I think it is very interesting that one of the meanings was "dalet" for door entering and leaving the world. My mother passed away in 2001 at the age of 41. She was very religious and was close to Michael, the Archangel. (very long story) I can't help but feel that I get some of these dreams from her, as sometimes she appears in them. Sometimes I wonder if there is something I am supposed to do with them or the information in them...or is it just a dream to think about? Why do we get dreams and visions and what are we supposed to do with them?

Dream is Hebrew "chalom", חֲלוֹם, while window is "chalon", חַלּוֹן

Dreams in Myth, Medicine, and Movies (http://books.google.nl/books?id=Iqu6mO0Wtn0C&pg=PA9&lpg=PA9&dq=chalom+dream+chalon+window&source=bl&ots=eY1de3uuKm&sig=9mYWJSnOIwqhBXORUPz7zdQSt94&hl=nl&sa=X&ei=flM8UYTUDcWQ7AbavoHYBA&ved=0CDMQ6AEwAQ#v=onepage&q&f=false)
http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q262/suivlys/chalomdreamchalonwindow.jpg

Noach's ark had a "chalon", from which he sent first the raven and then the dove.
Genesis 8:6,
And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window, "chalon", of the ark that he had made.

At first this window was called "tsohar", צֹהַר
Genesis 6:16,
You shall make a skylight for the ark, and to a cubit you shall finish it to the top
"Tsohar" being a word that only occurs here, related to "yitshar"= olive oil, from the root "tsahar"= to press oil,
Olive oil, the essence of the light.

The first dream mentioned is Jacob's dream of the ladder, Genesis 28:12,
And he dreamed, and behold! a ladder set up on the ground and its top reached to heaven; and behold, angels of God were ascending and descending upon it.
Much to say about it,
It reminds of Genesis 1:1,
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" -- Hebrew "b'reishit" ("translated ïn the beginning"), might be read as "with reishit" = "with main thing God created the heaven and the earth", the main thing being the ladder, even the ladder of Jacob's dream. The word for ladder "sulam", סֻלָּם, only occuring once (in Genesis 28:12); Gematria 130 = 5 x 26; 26 being gematria of the name of God, the Tetragrammaton, hidden in the initial letters of "yom hashishi vay'chulu hashamayim" , whre "hashishi"is the 434th word from teh beginning, and the letter "hey" of "hashishi" being extra (the leaving out of this letter has no impact for the superficial; meaning of the text); the value of the letter "hey" being 5,
forming the quintessence ot the whole bible.

Also Pharao had dreams, Genesis 41:8,
Now it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; so he sent and called all the necromancers of Egypt and all its sages, and Pharaoh related to them his dream, but no one interpreted them for Pharaoh.
It means that there is not any rational explanation for the things Pharao dreamt of

Genesis 41:15-16,
And Pharaoh said to Joseph, "I have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter for it, but I have heard it said of you [that] you understand a dream, to interpret it." And Joseph replied to Pharaoh, saying, "Not I; God will give an answer [that will bring] peace to Pharaoh."

Joseph's solution, Genesis 41:34,
Let Pharaoh do [this] and appoint officials over the land and take a fifth the land of Egypt during the seven years of plenty.

Take a fifth = "chimmeish" , חִמֵּשׁ,
Certainly is about the letter "hey" of "hashishi" (the 434th word of the bible),
which is affirmed in Genesis 47:23
הֵא לָכֶם זֶרַע, " "hey" is seed for you".
