:prof:Joel Osteen uses scripture to illustrate modern day situations. Today he was
speaking of how Rebekah went beyond the call of duty by offering to water the
camels of Abraham's servant, and that WE should be doing more than the
minimum if we're truly representing a Godly life.
That's a great POV, though I prefer personally to note the comparison of how
Abraham's servant was seeking a wife for Isaac JUST AS the Holy Spirit is now
seeking "five wise virgins" as wives for the Bridegroom.. eh?:winking0071:
