:talk008:The USA won't be having a 45th President if the Bible agenda has been laid out
the way I see it.
The Old Testament number 22 has special emphasis in the Old Testament --
not just the acrostic poetry with number of letters in the Hebrew alphabet,
but also the Generation of Jacob, and especially the number of Kings in the dynasty of David.Double numbers as multiple of eleven are found throughout scripture; not
just the 33 generations to David, or the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation;
and the 'doubled' itself leads to our anticipation about the 22 of the
OT leading to the 44 Presidents of the U.S.A..
Read "The Harbinger" by Jonathan Cahn, ca 2011, for how the USA is a type of
the Promised Land linking George Washington's first inauguration with the
Temple of Solomon. Also "The Light and the Glory" by Peter Marshall, for
an understanding of how Columbus believed he was on a mission on behalf
of the Holy Spirit.
Genesis 41:32 "And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because
the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass".
Isa61:7 "For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall
rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them".
Just because Elisha did twice the miracles of Elijah may be an innuendo
leading to the comparison of the 22 Kings of the Davidic Monarch's with the 44
Presidents of the USA! We'll know for sure by January 2013, won't we?
Counting the kings is not as easy as it sounds -- do we count the first three who
reigned over all 12 Tribes; and what about Saul who wasn't of the Tribe of Judah? :woah:
Daniel 6:2 KJV "And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage". (Versions other than KJV usually don't say 'presidents').

Hello duxrow
If what you say is true, this could mean the return of Jesus is extremely close (like this year?). If Obama stays in office another term of four years, this could mean that Jesus could return within the next four years and that takes us up to just before 2016. That would be remarkable and makes us thing that Isaac Newton's prediction of 2015 for the return of Jesus is correct.
Is this is a principle you are stating here applied to any nation? Do you see America identified in the Bible and what identifies America?
This gets us thinking; thanks

Isaac Newton has a really nice wikipedia page. He and I share the same xmas birthday...
In a manuscript he wrote in 1704 in which he describes his attempts to extract scientific information from the Bible, he estimated that the world would end no earlier than 2060. In predicting this he said, "This I mention not to assert when the time of the end shall be, but to put a stop to the rash conjectures of fanciful men who are frequently predicting the time of the end, and by doing so bring the sacred prophesies into discredit as often as their predictions fail."[103]
I wonder what scientific info he extracted to make that prediction. I did not see any 2015 prediction for Jesus.
Would we know Jesus if we saw him? If Jesus were to take human form again, he would perhaps have to be born again.
Wonder if the Jews would accept the messiah, or hang him back on the cross.
In "The Harbinger" Jesus warns the people against looking for signs because they could be God or satan.
I do not know too much about numerology and Gematria. Some people might oh Jesus has a number 888.... what does that mean?
I briefly read a review of "The Harbinger" by messianic Rabbi Cahn who lays out his prophesy etc. The review same none should question
Rabbi Cahn due to his deep insight of scripture and any criticism is blasphemous.
Thessalonians 5:21 but test everything; hold fast what is good.
Rabbi Cahn wrote a book which is product which is market in a certain way.. So Rabbi Cahn selling his publications and making his case.
One thing we must remember, Christianity is not a mystery religion. With the Bible, what you see is what you get. But books have been written (e.g., The Da Vinci Code and a host of other books) suggesting that the Bible has hidden messages totally different from what you see on the surface and what has been taught as the fundamentals of the faith.
Rabbi Cahn dives into Freemasonary and says George Washington had a covenant.
Says our country needs to repent, and he gives explicit instruction on how to repent, etc..
Hey this is just another book with secret codes, bible puzzles and his prophecy.
Interesting or Boring?

Hello Chris
Thanks for that bit of useful information about Isaac Newton. I have been asking for someone to show me the document that Isaac Newton had forecast 2015 or 2018 and I have to agree that we should never accept these predicted dates with any reliability. That said, I do hold with the idea that the return of Jesus will not be later than 2060 and is much sooner than that. I will revise what I say about Isaac Newton predicting the date 2015 and will challenge anyone else who I hear saying that.
In the plan of God, the nation of Israel play an important part and the fact that the people were regathered and formed a nation in 1948 is very significant and is the fulfillment of God's promise to His people. Despite the people's lack of faith and their realization that God has done this and it did not come about by their own efforts, the nation of Israel are witnessing to God that God is keeping His promises and that God's plan is being outworked. Jerusalem remains a "stumbling block "and a "burdensome stone" and will remain that way until Jesus comes back and sorts the problem out.
Israel will eventually recognize Jesus when he returns. The veil that is keeping Israel blind has to be lifted and that I believe will happen when Jesus comes back. The Bible is as you say interesting and if anyone says its boring, that shows they have not read and understood it.
All the best

:Investigate:Hey David, Chris, am hoping someone see's more relevance between the Davidic Kings and U.S. Presidents.
Grover Cleveland is listed as 22nd President, and also #24, which may throw off the numbering and leave us one more number after Obama. You think?:yo:

It is interesting how Obama did a bit or a reversal of attitude towards Israel. It will be interesting to see of who of the present candidates is pro Israel. When Christ comes back I expect America might be more on the side of Israel just as they have been in the past. On the other hand, it will not be America that saves Israel the next time Israel is overrun.

:sBo_reflection2:
Obama seems pro-Muslim, while Romney is personel friend of Israel PM. Even though I question the thinking of anyone w Mormon faith, it's better than someone who claims to be follower of Jeremiah Wright.
The back-stabbing comments of Obama after his shameful debate performance is right in line with 'scoundrel' tactics IMO.
