Hello everyone.
The Bejamin generation, if you never heard it, Joseph Prince, a pastor in Singapore was the first to mention about it, meaning the end time christians. A search in google leads you to hundreds of people writing about this, from what they heard from Joseph Prince and maybe come with new insights.
Why the Benjamin Generation? And what is the Benjamin Generation?
Well, the Benjamin Generation refers to the end-time generation, the generation of believers before Jesus comes again. This generation is marked by God’s grace. Benjamin’s life was a life of undeserved favour and blessings.
When baby Benjamin was born, his mother actually called him Ben-Oni, which means ‘son of my sorrow’. But his father Jacob called him Benjamin which means ‘son of my right hand’ (Genesis 35:18). The Bible says that when our LORD Jesus died on the cross for our sins, He became ‘A Man of sorrows’ (Isaiah 53:3). An when He was raised from the dead, conquering death for us, God raised us up and seated us together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus making us ‘sons of His right hand’
(Ephesians 2:6).
Joseph’s first words to his brother Benjamin when he saw him after so many years of separation were words of grace.
29 Then he lifted his eyes and saw his brother Benjamin, his mother’s son, and said, “Is this your younger brother of whom you spoke to me?” And he said, “God be gracious to you, my son.” - Genesis 43:29 (NKJV)
Grace is what the Benjamin Generation is all about.
Why was Benjamin given five times more than his brothers, why five? Because five is the number of grace. The 5th time Noahs name was mentioned, God favoured him, the 5th time Rut's name was mentioned she was favoured by Boaz. The jews has a meaning for all the 22 letters, jews depict the 5th letter as a window, because a window helps you to see, see what, God's grace.
If you say the 5th letter He, you have to breath out, like God breathed life into existence.
Off track posting, Jacob had 12 sons, 10 with women whom he did not choose, Jacob chose Rachel, so only 2 sons with Rachel. 10 has different meanings, for God, it is everything we own, so if you give 10 percent of you, God sees that as giving all, He tries to show that in different texts of the bible. It also means the law, the 10 commandments means all law, the 10 is the heavenly which man cannot fullfill, especially when he tries to.
You can see a picture in the story of Joseph, tha when Joseph was ruling in Egypt, and his family needed food. His brothers was sent down to get food from Egypt, Jacob held back Benjamin, because he tought that he was the only son left from Rachel. So only 10 brothers went down, the law, the promised ones, and when they came down, they didnt recognize their brother Joseph, like Jesus first coming, the jews didnt recognize that Jesus was their Messiah.
For you that have read the story, you see that Joseph knows that Benjamin is not with them, and takes Simon as captive to bring down Benjamin, or else he accuses them for being spies and thieves.
Simon means hearing, and that is the picture of the jews and people depending on laws loosing their hearing to hear this message. So the 9 brothers left going home to take with them Benjamin, so Simon can be set free. Jacob refuses of course, but Judah gives a big promise that he will take the blame if he dosent come home with everybody. A picture of Jesus again. And so they are 10 again going down to get food and bring back ''the stolen goods'' and to get Simon(hearing) back. Because now Benjamin is with them, and this is the picture of our end time, when christians can teach the jews these picures so they can recognize that Jesus really is the Messiah. And that whats happens when they go there the second time, Joseph reveals who he is, and there is great joy
Then Joseph brought Benjamin and his brothers to eat. And the Bible says that Benjamin’s serving was five times as much as any of his brothers’.
34 Then he took servings to them from before him, but Benjamin’s serving was five times as much as any of theirs. So they drank and were merry with him. - Genesis 43:34 (NKJV)
This generation will have five times more food and drink. ‘5’ incidentally is the number representing God’s grace in the Bible.
Next, Joseph’s silver cup was put in Benjamin’s sack. It was an empty silver cup. Silver in the Bible speaks of redemption. Saving, redemption. Why was it empty? Because Jesus drank all the cup of our condemnation, shame, uncleaness and now there is no more condemnation for you and I.
2 Also put my cup, the silver cup, in the mouth of the sack of the youngest, and his grain money.” So he did according to the word that Joseph had spoken. - Genesis 44:2 (NKJV)
We have been given a message in our sack. The silver cup points to Jesus’ redemption, the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Our message is that there is no more judgement from God, the cup is empty.
And when Joseph told the brothers that Benjamin had to remain, Judah stood up for Benjamin and offered himself instead (Genesis 44:18-34). We are privileged to be the Benjamin generation, because Judah stood up for Benjamin. So this Benjamin Generation will have favour with Jesus, the Lion of Judah, who gave Himself up for us.
The end of the story is that Jacob is told that Joseph is alive, but he will not believe, but when he sees the picture of ten donkeys and 10 10 10, Jacobs name turns to Israel, because now he believes that Joseph is alive, Israel believes that Jesus is alive, Amen.
And later we find that the Benjamin-tribe settles down in Jerusalem, but they did'nt drive out the jesubites, jesubites means ''condemnation'' and they lived with them for 377 years, untill David(Gods beloved) drives out the jesubites(condemnation), yet another picture of what Jesus is to do with us christians.
A little off track in track here, but now off track again, this 10+2 picture is also seen in the story where the israelites are spying out the promised land, 12 spies are sent out, 10 of them being lawish saying that there are giants which they can't defeat, and 2 of them saying they have faith to defeat them, those 2 is Joshua and Caleb, and the extra picture here is the meaning of Joshua and Caleb
Caleb means dog, and Jesus is telling that the people who are not jews, for dogs. Caleb the son of Jepuneh, Jepuneh wich comes from a root word that means ''turn around'' It means that the dog is turning back from his life of being a dog, together with Joshua which means in hebrew the same as Jesus name, God is salvation, Joshua son of Nun, Nun which means fish, just think how picturing this is for the big meaning of the bible.
All these meanings of hidden prophecy about Jesus is hidden in plain texts, but many people say it is not about Jesus if you read the whole chapter, but thats what i think God wants people who don't want to believe to think, that's why God put small verses of prophecies in chapters telling about something else, but not completly something else, as you can see in the story of Joseph, and the entering of the promised land.
