Conversions: Atheism to Christianity

I am interested in finding testimonies of hard core atheists like Richard Dawkins who have converted to Christianity. I know of many committed fundamentalist Christians who have de-converted and now call themselves Atheists, but am in the process of trying to find the equivalent in the Atheist community. I am not looking for agnostics or people who call themselves atheists by default, only those who have committed their lives to Atheism and then converted to Christianity.

I don't know if any of the people in those lists match the conditions set forth in Rose's OP.

Here is what we are looking for:

Has a public defender of Atheism ever become a public defender of Christianity?

We have many examples of Christians who had careers as preachers and evangelists rejecting their former faith and then publicly advocating atheism and giving reasons they were wrong about their former beliefs. E.g. John Loftus of debunkingchristianity.com and Dan Barker of ffrf.org (Freedom From Religion Foundation), etc. So is there any prominent example of an public defender of atheism converting to Christianity?

Hi Cheow,

I went through the lists you posted and checked out each individual and none met the criteria I set forth in my OP. What I am looking for are people that are Atheistic Activists in the same manner as a Christian Activist. It must be a person who promotes the cause of atheism like Richard Dawkins and then rejects that cause for Christianity. All the people listed were either born into atheistic families or were atheists by default until they were introduced to Christianity, which is fairly common. No one is born a Christian, so everyone is an agnostic before they become a Christian, that is why what I am looking for is a hard-core atheist activist who promotes their cause by choice. It seems like they are rare birds. :D
