Does the Quran contain supernatural knowledge of modern science?

Many Muslims claim that the Quran contains information about modern science that was not known at the time it was written and that this proves it was inspired by God. I bring this up because some Christians on this forum and Facebook have been saying the same thing about the Bible. To my eye, the arguments seem identical. For example, here is how they say (http://www.miraclesofthequran.com/scientific_102.html) it on http://www.miraclesofthequran.com:
Many miraculous features of the Qur’an prove it is the word of Allah. Facts are revealed in the verses through the scientific facts, the descriptions of the past and the mathematical codes, that could never have been known to anyone at the time. In addition, developments that could never have been learned with the level of knowledge and technology of the time were also indicated in the verses of the Qur’an before the event. The fact that some scientific facts we only attained with 20th and 21st-century technology were revealed in the Qur’an 1400 years ago is clear evidence that the Qur’an cannot be the work of any human being.

Here is a page (http://www.miraclesofthequran.com/scientific_index.html) that lists all the "evidence" - including such things as the heliocentric solar system, the expansion of the universe, the theory of relativity, and so forth. Many of the articles are essentially identical to those put forth by Christians, such as this article (http://www.miraclesofthequran.com/scientific_02.html) that says the Qu'ran knew about the expansion of the universe.

So my question is this: Given that the Muslim and the Christian arguments are essentially identical, how can one be wrong and the other right?

This is a very interesting and inspiring link about the scientific facts portray in the Quran and the Bible. I have yet to read completely but intend to do so. Since the Quran and Bible are basically related and some even said that the Quran was a derived copycat of the Bible, what makes you think that the Quran contains scientific revelations but not for the Bible? Both Muslim and Christian scientific arguments in their religious books can be both right if only we can dig deeper into the understandings of the passages.
