The Bible told us to pray without ceasing (Thessalonian). Jesus encouraged us to pray and taught us the Lord's prayer. Why is prayer so important and curiously prayer is the hallmark of ALL religion. Name me a religion that don't require prayer? Are there more to prayers? I believe so as there are many health benefits in prayers such as reduction of stress etc. which is why God encouraged us to pray. It doesn't matter even if God don't answer some prayers, we will still receive some health benefits of prayers. So let's pray :pray::pray:

21 benefits of prayer

If we really don't understand how important something or someone is, we will never appreciate it or them. It is a fact that many people don't realize the importance of someone until they die. While they were alive they took them for granted or didn't say how much they were loved. And now that they are gone and so is all hope of ever being able to say or do what should have been done.

Many today don't appreciate God for who he is or for what he has done. Instead they try to take his name out of everything that this country has stood for. For many years I did not appreciate him neither. I did not want to associate with anyone who was a Christian until one night I almost lost my life. A person was standing over me with a knife about to stab me and there was nothing that I could do.

I found out how important the Lord really was to me then and still is now because he saved my life both physically and spiritually. (true story). I discovered through reading the bible and fellow shipping with other Christians that there are many benefits in prayer and I've listed just 21 in this lens.
