Here is another one of those problem stories in the Bible. This one is from Judges 11 concerning the God approved sacrifice of Jephthah's daughter.

NOT God approved -- Jephthah called this one himself, illustrating how Death and Life are in the tongue, and how our own words have consequences for ourself. Still, just because she's called a 'burnt offering' doesn't nec mean she was burned at the stake (as Tamar was threatened) -- I see it as beginning of Nun practice (marriage to Christ). Merry Christmas!

Those are the standard answers, of course. But don't they seem pretty lame in light of what really happened? Did you watch the video?

Yeah. Well, just enough to hear some of the filth accompanying. Expected of those who would prob rather crucify the Author again.
We all have our opinions and trot out the things that support them -- I'm including myself. Merry Xmas, RAM (I think of the x as one of the ancient symbols).. :yo:

Hey there my friend,

Where did that "filth" come from? Did they say anything not found in Scripture?

And how is quoting the Bible equivalent to "crucifying Christ again?" That's a very serious charge, I wouldn't think you would want to toss around the blood of Christ without seriously thinking about the truth of what you are saying.

I know that it's disturbing to be confronted with the the horrible things in the Old Testament, but why blame the messenger?

And I hope you have a Merry Catholic Mass of Christ too!
