It's called "Paw Creek Ministries" led by Pastor Joe Chambers. I get his email newsletters frequently. Here's a link (http://www.pawcreek.org/open-bible-dialog/apollyon-and-dark-spirits-in-the-bottomless-pit-turned-loose-on-the-earth) to the one I received today. The ministry is designed to appeal to intellectual Christians who desire to fulfill the greatest commandment "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind." Just look at how they describe themselves! Here is the first paragraph from their About page (http://www.pawcreek.org/about):
Rapture Readiness, the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ, End Time information, exposing False Prophets and Prophetesses, identifying the One World Church, the Antichrist, and defending the infallible King James Bible are key subjects of this website. We want to help you be a “Salty Saint,” be healthy by providing good vitamins and nutrients, and to be a light of Jesus Christ in this sin-cursed world. Our “LIVE” Radio Broadcast, Open Bible Dialogue, keeps you up-to-date on End Times news.
Yeah baby! I finally found me a church I can call a home ... a home for the raving religious lunatics, that is! :hysterical:

Hey Richard,
After the minister is finishing thoroughly and thoughtfully explaining to you exactly how hot hell is and how long all those pathetic sinners are going to be endlessly tortured there...ask him if he's ever done any research on the hermetic origins and influences of the 'Authorized Version'. Maybe he'll be able to quickly explain to you the different encryptions that those like Bacon and others had folly in peppering throughout the King James Version. You may want to ask him, when he states "infallible", is he referring to before or after the Apocrypha was gutted out of it...and is he referring to the interpolated 1 John 5:7 in his all-inclusive descriptor...
Over the next week, I'll post some of the hermetic encryptions found in the "original" King James Version...the one with Psalm 46 'shake-spear' encryptions, etc.
PS - Don't forget to stuff that tithe envelope nice and full ...this church has lots of 'pre-rapture' expenses incurring ...and the minister probably needs a new Benz, for that glory-ride coming up.

That's quite a mix of assertions. I'll be interested to see the evidence you have for "encryptions." I know about the strange Psalm 46 thing. Ripley's Believe it or not made that famous many years ago. But I can't see how it could be evidence of Baconian influence since the underlying Hebrew words have those meanings and were written long before Shakespeare or Bacon or any of those folks lived.

Yeah, how can you save people if you don' show them how rich it will make you! I'm doing it for the kingdom. Yeah, that's the ticket ....

Excelllent! I'll start on the King James/Shake-spear info in an hour or so, once I've finished getting the kids off to school. The initial inclusion of the Apocrypha and the spurious interpolation of 1 John 5:7 (among dozens of other 'fallible' issues found in the King James Version, such as Mary being referred to as "virgin" in Matthew and Luke, not "maiden" as the original Hebrew word would be better rendered, etc) I assume need no further 'proof' to anyone who has studied the issues.
PS- This is not a 'knock' on the King James Version of the Bible...which I happen to find as a great literary work...like the great Shakespearean works. This is in regards to those who claim its inerrancy without ever really 'learning' about all that went into putting it together...put together by 'men'.

Hey there RC,
I moved you post to the Biblical Studies forum since that seemed more appropriate than the "Humor" forum. Here's the link:
Encryptions within the Original 1611 King James Version of the Bible (http://www.biblewheel.com/forum/showthread.php?2539-Encryptions-within-the-Original-1611-King-James-Version-of-the-Bible)
See ya there!
Richard
