A blogger called David Tanner made an exciting discovery using the resources of BibleWheel.com. Using the Gematria Database, which, among other things, numerates the verses of the Bible, he came up with the following finding, published in his blog Olive Tree Post (http://olivetreepost.blogspot.com/2009/12/i-was-just-looking-up-meanings-of-some.html):
I was just looking up the meanings of some Hebrew words on The Bible Wheel (http://www.biblewheel.com/forum/../GR/GR_Database.asp?bnum=16&cnum=10&vnum=22)and stumbled across something interesting. When you look up a verse on The Bible Wheel, it tells you what numbered verse of the Torah you are looking at.
For instance, the last verse of the Tanach is Malachi 4:6, which is verse number 25,145. So, it got me to wondering what the middle verse of the Tanach is. Well, 25,145 divided by 2 is 12,572.5. Therefore, the middle verses would be 12,572 and 12,573. Those two verses are:
Nehemiah 10:22 Pelatiah, Hanan, Anaiah,
Nehemiah 10:23 Hoshea, Hananiah, Hashub
If the middle of these two verses is the actual middle of the Tanach, then Anaiah and Hoshea would be the middle two words. Anaiah means "Yah has answered," and Hoshea means "salvation."
Of course, Hoshea, who we know as Joshua, or Yahashua/Yeshua is the name of the Messiah.
If "Yah has answered," then what was His answer? Yahashua.
The Tanach teaches that Yeshua is the Messiah!
My comment: It is really wonderful to find the very name of Jesus - the name above every name - in the heart of the OT verse sequence.
Anaiah = Answer + Jah. Hosea = Salvation. The answer/witness is Jah's Salvation.
Therefore, the answer is Jesus (Yah is Salvation)!
