Hi Kathryn, :yo:

Thanks for the link. I talked with Stan Tenon once back around 1994. He has done some very significant work, especially with the auto-correlation of Genesis 1:1. I haven't looked at his stuff for some years ... thanks for the reminder.

Richard, I started reading the first chapter of your book as you have on your home page and found this:

In our German version [of the Bible] it has the appropriate inscription, "The Christian's golden ABC of the praise, love, power, and use of the word of God;" for here we have set forth in inexhaustible fullness what the word of God is to a man, and how a man is to behave him-self in relation to it.

Charles Haddon Spurgeon, the "Prince of Preachers" of nineteenth century England, borrowed the title of his book on Psalm 119 – The Golden Alphabet – from the German Bible mentioned by Delitzsch. He praised this Psalm to the limit of his rhetorical abilities, which were considerable. He called it "a little Bible, the Scriptures condensed ... Holy Writ rewritten in holy emotions and actions," and went on to mix the metaphors of "ocean" and "continent" in his effort to express the magnitude of this mighty portion of God's Word:

I was wondering if you could shed light on why the Germans call it the "GOLDEN" ABC's. Have you found the golden mean or PHI here yet? Reminds me of the Chinese movie The Curse of the GOLDEN Flower"

Another question ...sorry....
I saw this:

In 1995, as I sought to systematize my four years of study using the ancient Jewish tradition that says God "placed the letters in a circle," it occurred to me that the whole body of Scripture could be rolled up and integrated with the Hebrew Alphabetic Circle. This is how God led me to discover the Bible Wheel.

I was wondering how much you know of the Rosy Cross. This too is an example of the Hebrew letters rolled in a circle....12 on the outside, 7 on the next concentric circle of flower pedals, and 3 on the inside. I've spent a great deal of time analyzing this symbol.

I studied it because I believe Ed Leedskalnin was a Rosicrucian and used this design to inspire his design strategy for Rock Gate or Coral Castle as it is known today.

Richard,
Here's another tie-in to your "Stained Glass
Canon Wheel Cross" picture:

Heard of this guys' works before? I love this website...found it years ago. The Celtic Cross pre-dated Christ it seems by many years and was used like an astrolabe by simply putting a weight on one point of the circle. Used in conjunction with the stars of Draconis...or the dragon...you could tell the time rather accurately...at night that is...and you could use it to keep track of the position of the Sun during the day.

It was called "golden" because of it's value in relation to God's Word. I have nothing that would suggest a connection with the golden mean.

You must understand that the word "golden" in "golden mean" has nothing to do with the metal "gold" or other things described as "golden." It is merely a word synonymous with "valuable" or "wonderful."
