Eleven and Prophecy

The Millennial event universally known as ‘9/11’ brought the number 11 to the world’s attention. Here are just a few of very many links.

1. The towers resembled a huge 11.
2. The first airplane to strike a tower was flight 11.
3. The Pentagon was struck by flight 77 (11 x 7).
4. The date was the 11th.
5. The towers both had 110 storeys above ground.
6. The towers both collapsed to the 11th storey.
7. The towers burned for 99 days (11 x 9).
8. 9 + 1 + 1 = 11.
9. The 9/11 Commission Report was released on 7/22/04, 1045 days after 9/11. 1045 = 11 x 95.
10. Manhattan Island was discovered by Henry Hudson on 9/11/1609.
11. Work began on the Pentagon building on 9/11/41.

Note how some of these events were well before and after 9/11. It was an event that sent shockwaves through time and space and was a kind of ‘strange attractor’ for the number. Many movies made around the time, such as Oceans 11, The Two Towers and the Harry Potter films (he went to Hogwarts on his 11th birthday) were also marked in this way.

The New Bible Code exists mainly to proclaim that 9/11 was the ‘touchdown’ moment for the Second Coming. I began my code work two months after the event and one of my early discoveries was that Biblical verses that could be linked to 9/11 through metaphor, symbolism and prophecy were also marked with 11, normally the sites of confluences of 11s and related numbers I’d like to give a few examples from across the Bible, but there are many, many more.

All the examples are from the NIV ‘84. Bear in mind that 11 is the number of disintegration, division and disorganisation, and that

Jesus (r) = 11
Lord (r) = 22 = 11 + 11
Second Coming (o) = 121 = 11 x 11

1. Genesis 1.10 has an ov of 803. (11 x 73).

2. Genesis 1.11 (the 11th verse) sums to 1507 (11 x 137).

3. The Bible’s 121st verse is Genesis 5.15 and sums to 451 (11 x 41). 121 is 11 x 11 and the ov of ‘Second Coming’. 515 is the sv of Jesus’.

4. The first 9 verses of Genesis 11 tell the story of the Tower of Babel, which God prevented man from building by confusing our languages.

5.At the other end of the Bible, the two witnesses, whose “bodies lie in the streets of the great city”, are mentioned in Revelation 11. They are destroyed by the beast from the abyss in verse 7, which sums to 1255 (11 x 115).

6. The 217th verse in the Bible is Genesis 9/11, which concerns a new covenant between God and man. 217 is the ov of Christ’s Second Coming. Recall that the three buildings that fell on 9/11 were 2, 1 and 7, in that order. The times they fell and the times towers 1 and 2 were hit both sum to a multiple of 11)

7. Genesis 22.13, where Abraham sacrifices a ram caught by its horns, is the Bible’s 22nd chapter (1 x 2) and 561st verse (11 x 51). This is the prototypical verse for the Crucifixion, which 9/11 symbolised.

8. Exodus 7.10, where Aaron’s throws down his staff, which turns into a snake, sums to 1331 (11 x 11 x 11).

9. Exodus 9.11, which tells us that Pharaoh’s magicians could not stand before Moses, who had given them a plague of boils, sums to 957 (11 x 87).

10. Exodus 27 and 38 give the Lord’s instructions for and the building of the altar of burnt offering. These are the 77th and 88th Bible chapters. They also suggest the towers were a kind of burnt offering.

11. In Numbers 20.11 Moses struck a rock twice with his staff whereupon water gushed out of it. This verse is the 11th and sums to 4324 (11 x 393).

12. In Deuteronomy 20.20, the Lord tells the Israelites they can cut down trees that are not fruit trees for seize works. The verse sums to 1474 (11 x 134).

13. In a parallel passage to Deuteronomy 20.20, Mark 11, Jesus causes a fig-tree to wither, it being out of season for fruit. This verse sums to 803 (11 x 73). Mark 11 is the Bible’s 968th chapter (11 x 11 x 8).

14. In Joshua 11.9, Joshua, on the Lord’s instruction, hamstrings the horses of his enemy and burns their chariots. The verse sums to 869 (11 x 79). Joshua 11 is the Bible’s 198th chapter (11 x 18).

15. 1 Samuel 17.49 is the verse describing how David fells Goliath with a single slingshot. 1749 is 11 x 159. 1 Samuel 17 is the Bible’s 253rd chapter (11 x 23).

16. Psalm 119, the Bible’s longest chapter, has 176 (11 x 16) verses and 22 (11 x 2) stanzas.

17. The Book of Lamentations, with 154 (11 x 14) verses, is read in synagogues on the 9th of Av, the 11th month in the Jewish calendar. Each chapter in Lamentations has a multiple of 11 verses. On this date many disasters befell the Jews. In 2001 the 9th of Av was 44 (11 x 4) days before 9/11.

18. Ezekiel 11.9, where the Lord delivers his judgment on Jerusalem, sums to 990 (11 x 90). This is the Bible’s 20666th verse. Rev. 13.18, where 666 is given in the text, is the NIV Bible’s 30911th verse and the New Testament’s 7766th verse (11 x 706).

Daniel 8 contains an astounding confluence of numbers, metaphor and symbolism. Verses 3 to 7 contain his prophecy of a ram standing beside a canal, with two long horns which were shattered by a flying goat. Could there be a more obvious 9/11 prophecy?

Verses 3 and 4, which spdescribe the ram, sum to 3102 (11 x 282). Verses 5, 6 and 7, which prophesy the destruction of the horns of the ram, sum to 4555 (911 x 5). Daniel 8 is the Bible’s 858th chapter (11 x 78).

19. Daniel 11.9, which prophesies an invasion of the southern territories by the king of the north, sums to 1100.

20. Luke 21.11 tells of a time of fearful events and great signs from heaven. This, the 11th verse of Luke, sums to 1111 (11 x 101).

21. Luke 23.32 tells us that two criminals were crucified along with Jesus. The verse sums to 693 (11 x 63). 693 is the standard value of ‘The Skull’, the name given only in Luke for the place of Jesus’ execution. 2332 is 11 x 212.

22. In John 9.11 Jesus heals a blind man by rubbing mud in his eyes. The verse sums to 1298 (11 x 118). John 9 is the New Testament’s 77th chapter. Once we were blind but now we can see.

23. In John 19.34, Jesus is pierced by a soldier’s spear (the Bible’s single mention of this incident). The verse sums to 911. This alludes to the Pentagon, which was pierced by flight 77, and generally to 9/11 being a crucifixion.

24. Acts 27.37 tells us that 276 souls were saved after a shipwreck. The verse sums to 363 (11 x 11 x 3). Acts 27 is the Bible’s 1045th chapter (11 x 95). The chaoter and verse indicators may also refer to Matthew 27.37, the first description of the Superscription above Jesus’ head as he was crucified, a highly encoded verse that is the New Testament’s 1019th (in the NIV).

25. Rev. 12.1 introduces the woman who gives birth to the male child. This verse sums to 1309 (11 x 119). 121 is 11 x 11.

26. Rev. 19.11 tells of the rider on the white horse who judges and makes war. The verse sums to 1254 (11 x 114).

27. Rev. 20.9 tells of the fiery fate of Satan and his followers. The verse sums to 1342 (11 x 122). 209 sums to 11 x 19.

These are only a small number of verses marked with 11 - always a confluence of at least 2 - which allude to 9/11 and give it new and breathtaking meaning, through a God’s-eye view of this epoch makimg event.

No, I’m interpreting prophecy. They are trying to fulfil it, a huge mistake (only God can fulfil prophecy, as he did on 9/11), which will have consequences for Israel.

If 9/11 signaled the second coming, and both Pope John Paul II and Osama Bin Laden fulfilled it, then why is the world arguably in a worse position today then it was then? Why hasn't peace or paradise on earth been established yet? Are you saying that's a figurative concept in the Bible and that there will never be a literal paradise on earth? 

Additionally, if you keep looking for examples of 11's in a book as large as the Bible, isn't it likely you're going to find it?

Good questions. I’ll answer them in turn.

1. I asked the Holy Spirit the same question one particular night four years ago, after being told a Golden Age (the 1000 year period of peace) was beginning. I asked “Why is the world anything but peaceful then? The answer I received was IN THE END. The impression I got was that it will take 1000 years to fix the mess we have made of things.

I’m never sure how much to say, but I was told to talk about what happened that night (although I rarely have), so I will in another post. It’s my grandson’s 11th birthday today (!) and I have things to do.

2. On the face of it, the list of verses marked with 11 seems like classic cherry picking. After all, every 11th number is a multiple of 11, so a lot of verses and other numbers associated with them will But every example I gave (and there are many more) is the site of a confluence of elevens and related numbers, which increases the odds considerably. Moreover the subject of each verse can be related to the general ideas associated with the number 11 in Biblical numerics (after Bullinger). Sometimes they directly relate to 9/11, such as Daniel’s prophecy of the ram and the goat.

Here is one I didn’t put in. In Isaiah 30.25 we are told there will be a “day of great slaughter, when the towers fall”. The number 3025 is 11 x 11 x 5 x 5. So we have a double multiple of 11 linked with the concept of falling towers! I haven’t mentioned it, but the number 5 is also linked to 9/11, associated with the Pentagon and with the five wounds Jesus received during his passion.

Or there is Zephaniah’s 1.16 (suggesting 9/11), a prophesy of the “fortified cities” and the “corner towers” in Jerusalem being attacked. In the NIV the ordinal value of the verse is 847 (11 x 11 x 7).

Except in a very few cases it’s probably impossible to quantify the odds against chance occurrence, but there are so many examples of this kind of confluence that it leaps out and grabs your attention.
