Most people are familiar with this idea of semantic vector spaces thanks to graphs like those created on the Political Compass site. Here’s mine: the coordinates of the red point, roughly (–2.2, –2.8) where x/y is represented by economic/social dimensions. It is, of course, absurdly simplistic since the two dimensions are themselves extremely complex high-dimensional subspaces spanning many more basic concepts (base vectors). But it exemplifies the essential idea, which is very significant because it is central to how neural networks represent meaning in both humans and AI. The only difference is scale: good neural nets don’t span a mere two dimensions, or even twenty, but billions and even trillions.

That’s when God said, “Hello son.”
In that moment I realized my thoughts were intertwining with God’s thoughts. My mind flooded with echoes of the many days Rose and I had discussed the meaning of logos (“word”) and homologeō, commonly translated as “confess” but literally meaning “to say the same thing”. When we speak Scripture, our minds join with God’s mind in a multidimensional semantic symphony of love, light, life, joy, mercy, grace, hope, healing, forgiveness. You become a living stone in the temple of God. You share the thoughts of God with God.
As we continued walking, I felt a kind of resonance—like my ideas and God’s ideas were vibrating with the same tone, rhythm, and music. I told Rose what I was experiencing, and she asked: “What is God telling you right now?”
Her questioned made me think of fake preachers who pretend God told them crazy things like “God says you need to give a thousand dollars for new private jet for our selfless ministry” or some such nonsense. That that thought quickly faded as I focused on God’s thoughts, and I said “I’m thinking God’s thoughts. They are all about the Gospel of His Son Jesus Christ the Lord.” And then the floodgates burst open.
As soon as I said those words, they lit up inside me. They became ALIVE! I could feel that I was thinking the thoughts of God. I realized that every thought God has given us in His Word is precisely that—His thought. And when we speak His thoughts with faith, they become alive. They come to life because God Himself is present with us in the speaking and believing. It was an amazing experience.
I began telling Rose the thoughts God was filling me with, and they overflowed like a fountain of brilliant golden light mixed with sunlight sparkling off water —love and joy splashing everywhere. I said, “God is love. God is joy. God is humble. God died for me. God died for you. God loves you. He loves you. He loves you.” Those words carried a meaning unlike anything I had ever felt before, because I was sharing the thought with God. His Spirit was lighting up my soul, revealing the truth, His Truth. The eternal Word of God was speaking through me. It felt like singing and rejoicing. I began weeping as I spoke, overwhelmed with the infinite love, mercy, grace and joy of God.
Even now, as I speak, I know my words are God’s words—not because I am a prophet, but because He has given them in Scripture, and when they are read with faith, His Spirit enlightens them. They become ALIVE! It is literally an experience of light. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” When I speak these words, I feel their truth: the Word of God is light, and God Himself is illuminating them in my heart.
This is what prayer has become for me—an immersion in divine light.
I told Rose it felt like when two separate ideas come together and intermingle. I showed her my open hands, and then brought them together with fingers intertwined. Then I realized that’s the very image of prayer, and now I have a new thought every time I clasp my hands to prepare for prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ, let my thought align with Your thoughts! Teach me! Guide me! You are the Good Shepherd, my Divine Shepherd.

And remember, God's thoughts are not merely infinite, they are infinite within each of the infinite dimensions they span! And they are perfect. They are love, light, mercy, joy, humility, wisdom, mathematics, divine philosophy, endless wonder.
God wants to share His mind with all his children. Dive in today! The water's great!
