Righteous Abel

That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother [Abel]. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

1 John 3:12 (Spoke 18, Cycle 3)

I was sitting in Church last Sunday (March 26, 2006) listening to the Pastor's sermon on 1 John 4:1 when my eye fell upon 1 John 3:12 quoted above. I immediately recognized it as a Spoke 18 KeyLink selected by the set (Cain/Abel, slew, righteous) ^[Verify] where the slash "/" means "or." This set is unique to the two verses quoted above. We have the following Spoke 18 KeyLink:

This KeyLink was particularly striking for two reasons. First, it is based on the fundamental Tzaddi KeyWord Tzaddiq (Righteous) which God used in the first Tzaddi Verse of the great Alphabetic Psalm 119:137:

Psalm 119:137 Righteous (Tzaddik) art thou, O Lord, and upright are thy judgments.

This KeyWord plays a very dominant role in the Books on Spoke 18, as seen in the sidebar. But the second and really striking fact is that I had already written about Matthew 23:35 on page 324 of the Bible Wheel book in the section that showed how God designed the variations in the parallel passages between Matthew and Luke in accordance with the Alphabetic Verses! The table below shows the parallel verses concerning the "blood of Abel":

Just look at this! The same verse that forms a Spoke 18 KeyLink from Matthew to 1 John also reveals Matthew's special emphasis on righteousness as compared to parallel passages in Luke! The whole Bible is designed this way. The patterns are completely consistent across all 22 Spokes! They continue to build coherently one atop the other and integrate with everything seen on every other Spoke. Similar parallel verses show the dominance of Resh KeyWords in Luke as compared with Matthew. This is discussed in the section called Solution of the Synoptic Problem. I have much more to say on this, but it will have to wait until I get a few more of the interlinked revelations posted on this site.
