Spoke 3
Romans 3 Leviticus
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans Chapter 3 (vs. 3:23)
When a ruler hath sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of
the commandments of the LORD his God concerning things which should not be done, and is
guilty; Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring
his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish: And he shall lay his hand
upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before

One of the great themes of Spoke 3 originates in Genesis 3 with the entrance of Sin, which also
manifests with great clarity in Isaiah 3. We now see the chapter sequence of Romans following
the great thematic river running thoughout Scripture. There is yet another reiteration of the

There is also the connection between Knowledge and Sin - which originated in Genesis 3 when Adam and Eve
ate the forbidden fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Taking this
as a clue, and searching for all verses containing the word "sin" and "know*", we discover that these
words first appear together in Leviticus in the Bible and in Chapter 3 in Romans.
