Genesis 9 Isaiah 9

And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

Genesis 9.11

This is the first occurrence of the fundmantal covenant word (Karat, S# H3772). This word makes a coordinated debut with Isaiah 9. It is the origin of the primary theme of Obadiah on Spoke 9 (cf. How Thou Art Cut Off!).
